I read this for a different challenge. It was handed to me by a friend, just randomly. I enjoyed it very much...though I'm embarrassed to say that I don't know my world history that well.
I read this last year, picked by the title, and loved it. Sadly, I can't get other people as excited by it as I was.
I am loving it so far. It is going to be a book that I will read again. My world history is not great either, but it does not effect the hilarious story line.
I am only half way through, but have already recommended it to others.
This is one of my Dad's favourite books so I am saving it for that week! *Edit* Just realised that was week 21! I have only just joined the challenge this week, but have read 16 books since January so I have managed to tick off a few so far. Here's to the rest of the challenge!
This is a great book. I really laughed when I read it, and I'm planning on reading more books by this author. If you like it maybe you would enjoy A Man Called Ove also. It's by another Swedish author, so the humor is very alike.

I added that yesterday to my To-Read List! :) Thank you for the suggestion! :)
Happy Reading!

Then I was lucky enough to pick up a copy for 50 cents at a yard sale last week. This cover even has an elephant on the front. We are destined for each other.
