It is a growing concern with hosts and writers coming to connect, so we can have easy access on both sides for this type of social media / promotion.

But I must be very picky about who and what gets featured.

I am building my brand on providing family friendly story telling to audiences. That means that there is not one word of profanity anywhere in my books, nor any lewdness, obscenity, or graphic violence. No graphic sex period.

If most parents would object to their 11 year old getting a hold of it based on content, then I am sorry, but I do not want to promote it.

That is different than works WRITTEN FOR children or teens. completely different. I seriously do not think Charles Dickens was writing for children, for example. But it is also my perception that no parent objects to their 11 year old reading "A Christmas Carol." Heck, my evangelical, tea party parents ENCOURAGED us to read Charles Dickens!


Now I am sure I am ruffling feathers by this caveat. And before you ask, no I am not a Christian, let alone an evangelical christian. I do not think a particular religion has the corner on dislike for certain kinds of content.

I also will not promote anything racist or encourages hate towards others.


But within all of that...if you have a great story, message me here and we can see if your work is suitable for discussion on my blog.


And yes, I would love someone to talk about my books on your blogs too! The Peers of Beinan is a truly unique science fiction series influenced by some great literature -- from Shakespeare to Jane Austen to Dickens to Tolkien to JMS and Dorothy DC Fontana.

I suggest you open a thread of your own to promote your blog and your desires. I'm and indie author who will support the hard working people who are going through the process of finding and filling their dreams. Any genre. I too am not into scenes of violence or erotic or racist. The list can go on, I weed out what goes on my blog.

To start a new thread, simply go to that group and create a new topic.
