i am thinking of reading this book for my free read book assignment and i was wondering if it's a good book.
i read this book when i was young so i was a little confused.........
Maggi wrote: "i thought it was a little mature for some ppl tht could have read it"well it's name is 12 and it is about a 12 year old girl so you would understand it if you were 12 or older
i could relate to the feelings she had towards gail, how she felt like she was losing her BF, the new things she was learning about life, that ppl can be harsh and mean, and that away from your community, you sometimes feel (and find yourself acting) like a different person. There are different variations of the person you can be, it all depends on your idea of the risk and the consequences.. i liked this book a lot. i coud say i loved her school, i was even sorta jealous. and i liked her feelings towards Lars and that she stood up for what she thought was right, like when on Halloween, with Louise, about Miss B.
she is a fun, quirky, and interesting character, with random and funny thoughts running around her head. She had a total writer's mind, you could tell in some parts of the story, for example there was the time that she mentioned that she had favorite words in her head which she liked to use and play with in her thoughts. They were good vocab. words too.
i actually do that same thing and I'm planning to be a writer, so I'm thinking the writer added that part about herself.
the whole series is the best. the last 1 tho, isnt my fav. why dont the chapters go by the months anymore!
