Movember Fun Run
Duration: 11/1/25 - 11/30/25
Progress: 0 park sites

Movember is both a time of year as well as a movement. It’s when men don’t shave for a full 30 days, but it’s also about raising awareness to prostate cancer, testicular cancer, men’s mental health and suicide prevention.

We will be participating in a Movember fun run in London's Greenwich Park.

a 1:28 Youtube video - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jYbPE...

Books must be at least 140 pages.
Audio books must be at least 3 hours long

It's my belief that 'fun' and 'run' should not be combined in the same sentence. (Although I have a brother, sister, and several nieces and nephews that disagree with me.)

To make this run 'fun', read for as many parts of the park as you'd like. No limit.

Parts of the park you will see during the run:
Pavilion Tea Rooms - read a book where the MC drinks tea
Royal Observatory - read a book with a moon or stars on the cover
sundial - read a book where time is important
boating lake - read a book with water on the cover
Captain Cook statue - read a book with a James, Jamie or Jim in it
King William VI statue - read a book with a title that starts with K, W, V or I
Conduit House - read a book where the MC goes underground
Groom's Hill gate - read a book with a wedding in it
Old Reservoir - read a historical novel
Ornamental Fountain - read a book with a fancy cover
Bandstand - read a book where the MC listens to music
Flower Garden - read a book with a flower on the cover
Ranger's Field - read a book where traveling is involved
Deer Park - read a book where someone is hunted
Remains of Roman Shrine - read the last of a trilogy or series
Maze Hill gate - read a book where the MC gets confused
Blackheath Lodge - read a book with a lot of black on the cover
Cockpit Steps - read a book where the MC travels by airplane
One Tree Hill - read a standalone book
Anglo Saxon Tumuli - read a book where the MC goes to a cemetery
Tennis Courts - read a book with matching double consonants in the title (tennis)
