My mom loves this series, and all mysteries in general. This was cute, but a bit long-winded for my taste. The MC is a precocious 11 year old girl genius chemist who solves a murder in 1950 England. There were a couple LOL worthy moments, but overall 3 stars.

My mom loves this series, as well. Sorry you didn't love it. I think the series loses some of its luster as it goes on but those first couple of books really cracked me up.
