For some reason the installment does not show up when I want to add it to the series. I tried searching for title, author and a combination of the two, but nothing.

Could it have anything to do with the fact it has no ASIN (or ISBN)?

Usually does not affect things that way. I had the same problem. I figure wait a day and then see if it works.
