We don't institutionalize patients ESPECIALLY MINORS (!!!) unless they present an enormous amount of risk for others and the patient's safety. Pills that make sleepy? Lawl, no. Just no. Patients MUST meet with a psychiatrist to assess their reaction to pills and the interaction those pills have together (tomato sauce with some pills is a big fat NO-NO). They also have to meet with a psychiatrist or psychologist to talk even if they have their privileges revoked. I'm raging. Sorry, not sorry. (hide spoiler)]

Nothing in books hardly ever truly "matches" how places are run. For example, even when Silas said he was going to (view spoiler)[go see Charlie's dad and he only had 72 hours that would be impossible. You can't just "drop by" a prison for a visit. LOL You have to fill out papers to be placed on the visitor's list and approved and that takes weeks, not hours or minutes. LOL (hide spoiler)]

Someone knows (view spoiler)[something about Charlie and Silas or why else would they have stolen all the letters and journals? Why would have done that unless someone is keeping track of them and making sure they have forgotten memories? But who? (hide spoiler)]
