Through chapter 9. (view spoiler)[I agree with Hermione about the treatment of house elves. Percy has gotten even worse and how he defends the treatment of Winky by Mr Crouch is horrible.

It's definitely odd that Harry had the dream and now the Death Eaters have shown up.

The Triwizard Tournament should be pretty interesting. I wonder how many died when they held it before. (hide spoiler)]

I've read through chapter 23 now. And some things are really irking me. (view spoiler)[Harry and Ron are so annoying here! The Yule Ball really bothered me. First they don't ask anyone, then when someone is willing to go with them (as a favor, basically), they completely ignore them! And are outright rude to them! It just...come on! Sure, you're annoyed and distracted, but that doesn't give you an excuse to be jerks.

And Ron's fight with Hermione...really dude. Get over yourself. And Harry really irked me because he didn't even stand up for her because he was too worried about Ron being annoyed with him...Umm. No! Ugh. Irksome. (hide spoiler)]

It's pretty clear that the boys have huge crushes but it was stupid how they treated the other girls whom they actually took to the ball.
I thought the thing about Harry thinking the captives would die, but it was very heroic of him to save them :) (hide spoiler)]

Finally finished! The third task happened much faster than I remember. I do think that the overall conclusion was handled much better than the previous books.
