I think a discussion thread for every 10 chapters will be great as to not have too many spoilers. I am currently reading 4 and 5 at the same time, so sometime I may be current with you all or a couple chapters behind, just depending on my life schedule.

Keep hearing that a fist for crows in not as eventful and just cant make my self start reading it as I'm afraid of being disappointed :(
Any how I think this read along would be awesome and can't wait to share my thoughts while reading this one!

I haven't been very disappointed with it so far. We started reading it on the 20th of May so we're a bit along now. And actually, some of us were already even halfway through or done by the time we started the readalong. Lol. We took a weeklong break for readathon purposes but will be starting it up again tomorrow. I'm not sure where everyone else is at right now, but I'm about 24 chapters in I think. I didn't end up doing the seperate threads for every 10 chapters though. It's just been a kind of "read at your own risk" thing. =p
Guess Im going to be way behind you guys and I wont start for a week or so .. glad to hear you're not disappointed though!just the right thing i needed to hear before kicking it off :)
Don't lose hope on book 4 Dez, a lot of people think this is the worst in the series simply because book 3 had so much impact. I do admit, book 4 is slower in pace but a lot of plot key points in them so just keep at it! There are chapters with great pay-offs storywise so don't give up just yet! Winter awaits....

I'm not sure how exactly we're going to be going about this, as far as keeping up with each other goes. I was looking through the mass market paperback edition I have and (excluding the extensive appendix) there are 45 chapters and 978 pages. The first few chapters averaged out to be about 20 pages each. So... I mean, I'd say why don't we just do one or two chapters a day but I know everyone's reading habits are different and, truth be told, I may not be able to hold to that for the first weekend of the read. Haha. We could either all keep the same pace so its easier to discuss as we read or maybe set up a discussion thread for every... maybe 10 chapters or something? I've never done a buddy read/readalong before so I'm open to suggestions! Lol.
