Hi my name is Acacia and I'm an author of a memoir titled, "The Serpent Beguiled Eve: Healing the Wounds of Abandonment, Betrayal and Shame."

Genre: Personal Memoir/Autobiography/Christian Living

Short Book Description:

"This story gives readers a taste of the pain caused by infidelity (for the spouses and their children.) It also shows there is hope beyond the grief for those who put their faith in the promises of God. The Serpent Beguiled Eve is recommended reading for anyone who feels alone as they live through and recover from the pain of infidelity."
-Kimberly Schimmel, Church Librarian

"You kept my interest by hinting that things were not to be or were going to get worse, and this bit of mystery led to turning the page to learn, "What happens next? I trust this is a book that will help others. We are presenting our "Faith-Friendly" Seal for ages 12 plus, and five Doves, our best rating, to this book." -Edwin L. Carpenter, The Dove Foundation,www.dove.org

The Serenity Stone Murder is about two middle-aged church ladies who get drawn into searching for the murderer of the unpopular manager of the Thunder Bay Charity Casino. Guy Estes (guye) Hello, all. I could use some honest reviews for me epic fantasy Triad. Aleena is a gifted warrior who only wants the world to leave her alone. Anlon is an equally gifted warrior who wants the world under his boot. Baezha is a gifted witch whose intentions are unknown, even to her. Both Aleena and Anlon are skilled, proud and jealous. Their rivalry is inevitable, yet Aleena knows Anlon is a brother in addition to a rival. Jealousy, mercy, forgiveness and vengeance threaten to consume all she loves.
Yet what of the third Chosen, Baezha, a powerful sorceress quietly watching the other two? And will the gathering of this triad result in balancing the equation into order or unbalancing it into further madness?

Title: I’m Not Your “Baby”: An Australian woman’s tortured life of sexual harassment and assault

In this suspenseful and riveting memoir about a blonde-haired, blue-eyed Australian beach girl, Joy faces the battle of her life against the not-so-friendly bronzed Aussie bloke.

Through her raw, dark stories of frightening sexual assaults, shocking rapes, non-stop abuse, violation and street harassment, Joy Jennings shares of how she tried to make her way in her coastal home town, while being hounded, followed and tormented at every turn.

Her powerfully moving story throws you into a world of tradies, hoons and bogans, who behave in the world’s most vile, vulgar and sexist of ways. With her candid and compelling recollections of being choked to within an inch of her life, having her car window smashed into her face, being stalked and having men rip the very clothes from her body, this memoir will not only keep you captivated, but also astonish you with every page.

Readers will be taken on an unrelenting ride as they share Joy’s emotional journey. I’m Not Your “Baby” will have you fighting for our author who, with a determined heart, never gives up hope of finding love, peace and ultimate happiness.

This is not a story about demonizing the Australian male, but one that humanizes the victims.

Kaitlyn Deann (kaitlyn_deann) | 2 comments Hi, everyone!

My name is Kaitlyn Deann. I'm the author of two fantasy/science-fiction novels, The Witches' Sleep and World of the Beasts.

"The Witches' Sleep" is an award-winning novel, and the one I'm asking for reviews on. It's written very simply and is YA. It's been compared to "The Hunger Games" by Suzanne Collins as well as "Harry Potter" by J. K. Rowling.

Synopsis:
At only seventeen, Ella Barnes is shot and killed for an unknown reason. She is shocked when she wakes up in a different world, a world of witches. Ella has to learn to adapt to a new body, new life and new world, surrounded by new people. As Ella gets to know Raena, the world of the witches and its people, she realizes they aren’t the perfect creatures they believe themselves to be, and she’s not the type of person to stand around and twiddle her thumbs. Will Ella succeed in changing the mindset of the people? Or will she be doomed to die another cold and tragic death because of her rebellion?

Editorial Reviews:
"The Witches' Sleep is an exceptionally well-paced story, a pleasure that I rarely experience as an avid reader. I was truly immersed in my reading and connected with the story and its characters so well as if I was experiencing it for real. Ella or Sunlight is .... a very well-created character, and very vibrant with acceptable weakness and admired strength. Kaitlyn Deann is my new favorite author. I can't wait for the next book form this remarkable author." ~Reviewed by Lit Amri for Readers' Favorite

"Seventeen-year-old debut author Deann has written a political, moral and racial commentary on U.S. society in the guise of a fantasy novel. Told in the present tense, with short, sharp uncluttered prose and dialogue, the novel contains elements of great maturity. A remarkable, entertaining read and a useful political-awareness treatise for thinking teens." ~Kirkus Reviews

"I have really never heard this mythology about the Witches’ Sleep before and everyone I told about it just loved the concept. It was super intriguing... Ella/Sunny and Daedrian/Kindness’ love is that eternal, timeless, fated love story that teens eat up with a fork and spoon. It was exciting and [the main character] was a great role model... One of my favorites that I read for sure."
~Judge, Writer’s Digest 21st Annual Self-Published Book Awards

~If you want to read it on your Kindle, I can gift it to you.

This is what amazon reviewers* have to say about Rangeela Tales:

“Despite this unusual premise, the characters (including the parrot) are very believable and the stories are thoughtfully written, depicting the growing bond between the boy and his pet.”

Sharon Cummin (sharoncummin) | 3 comments Hello,

If you would like to read my book "Working on My Best Friend's Brother" in exchange for an honest review, please reply to this post and email me your email info at sharoncummin@gmail.com

Thank you!

It had been five years since my twin brother Gabe had moved to California when I got the call that changed my life forever.

I'd been under my covers in the same clothes for two days when my phone rang. It was my brother's lawyer letting me know that I needed to be in California the following morning. If I didn't show up, my brother's company would stop running. It was in his will. My plane ticket was waiting, there was no getting out of it.

It took all I had to get out of bed, but I did it. I did it for my brother, his company, and the people that worked there.

When I walked into the room to wait for the rest of the people to arrive, I thought about Gabe and how proud I was of what he had accomplished. When the door opened and his best friend walked in, it took all I had to remain in that room. I couldn't wait for the others to walk in and fill the space between us, but that never happened. It was just the two of us.

Then it happened, the lawyer began to speak, and I thought I was going to lose it.

Gabe left everything, including the company, to his best friend and me evenly.

But that wasn't all, not even close. There were rules we had to follow before the papers would be signed and everything would be split.

1. We had to work together at the company for six months.
2. We both had to live in my brother's house the entire time.

There was only one problem, and that way my brother's best friend.

His name was Doug, and I couldn't stand him.

He was reason I'd never gone to California to see my brother.

How was I going to make it through six months?

I had to do it.

I didn't have a choice.

It was for my brother.

Synopsis:
"Felix Jaynes is a special agent for the Real Life Immersion Program (also known as RLIP). As a twenty-one-year-old, she finds herself having to network with the younger people in town. RLIP agents have partners who talk to them through their small earpieces that cannot be seen. These agents are not allowed to see their partners or even know their names. Felix has had many partners who are generally cold and over-professional. But Felix has been assigned to Wolf, an older gentleman who becomes a sort of wise father figure to her. After going with Ashton and his friends to the town bowling alley, Felix finds that she is starting to get into a clique of her own. Ashton is there to hopefully win Felix's heart, and Felix is there strictly on business, hoping to get information for her case...or so she keeps telling herself. Against Wolf's initial words of wisdom, Felix finds herself thinking about Ashton and accepts his invitation to go out on a date. But Felix accidentally blows her cover, and soon, Ashton is attacked. Felix was able to save him once, but now her enemies will stop at nothing to get to them. Felix is reassigned to a new mission...witness protection for Ashton and herself. Though it's the second book in a series, it's a stand-alone novel, so you don't have to read the first book to know who's who and what's what in this one. I can provide an epub, PDF, or docx, whichever you prefer.Reply here or PM me if interested.

She won’t hesitate to take on any demon from any of the seven hells, but none of them are as terrifying as the ones in her own mind.

Baezha Ambrose is a gifted sorceress. Aleena Kurrin, her adoptive sister, is a gifted warrior. Together they have faced countless foes, but now Baezha must face what she fears the most – her past. She’d fled her home town of Oleppo after her world ended in fire and blood and left her crippled with guilt. In the years since, the forces that destroyed her world have taken over Oleppo and grown stronger. Now she must return to Oleppo to sort things out.

The Watchers is a secret society of religious zealots fanatically devoted to the extinction of magic. Baezha’s extraordinary talent with magic makes her their most hated enemy, and they bring all of their obsessive fanaticism to bear on her. The Order of Entropy is a faction of sorcerers dedicated to destructive magic. They see Baezha as an intolerably dangerous rival, and they know precisely how to hurt her. They know her sordid past better than Baezha herself.

Crippled by guilt and fighting a two front war in a city that has made her very existence a crime, Baezha will need all the help she can get. She has but one ally, her sister Chosen, Aleena, who is as powerful in war as Baezha is in magic. With Aleena’s help, Baezha shall bring a reckoning to the evil that destroyed all she loved. Or that evil will have its final victory over her.

Book 1: Aion's Laurel (Book 1 of Galactic Geishas)

He’s a warrior, but he’ll have to use words not weapons to win his Laurel.

Laurel Ito’s is a galactic geisha. Not just any geisha, the jewel of the city of Tokai. Being a geisha is all she’s ever known.

Captain James Lionides is a hero to the crew of CCSS Aion—the flagship of Cordoba Constellar Conglomerate. He’s at the pinnacle of his career. Accolades, medals, awards… He’s filling his empty life with a box of medals. Being an officer is all he’s ever known.

Now thousands of years of tradition are in in the crosshairs of pirates—the standard thieving ones and the galactic corporate kind.

When they put James and face-to-face with the beautiful geisha—to co-chair the treaty negotiations between their world—he’d rather be chasing pirates with a pointy stick. Sure, she’s full of charm, intellect, and physical prowess but she’s art, what does she know of treaties? What does he know of treaties?

Laurel will have to prove that the work of a geisha is not limited to tea ceremonies and fluttering fans. She’ll show her strength and vulnerability in order to win the loyalty and love of the captain of Aion and together demonstrate the value of tradition. And she won’t be able to resist James.

Book 2: Stars Shining Bright Above

They're just hanging around until someone gets killed...

Life’s full of strange twists of the silks for circus performer, Astra Faraday, but none as strange as the twist of fate that brought her to Le Mouche Cabaret as an aerial artist. Compared to a life of piracy as a hacker for a band of pirates? It’s the safest gig. Ever.

Lazy happy forensic Medical Examiner, Dr. Zane Jones, is tomcatting about the LS Quantum with the occasional dead body to catalog and shove in the cold berth. Compared to a life of corporate servitude putting broken bodies back together assembly line style? It’s the shwishest gig. Ever.

One night. One death. Their lives are thrown into chaos. Zane and Astra must unknot a mess of mystery when her mentor is murdered. A hidden truth must be revealed to catch the killer and if they’re not careful, they’ll expose a vast galactic network of the Freedom Road… and fall head over heels in love.
