Joost (joostrijneveld) | 2 comments Hi!

I wanted to add a new book on Goodreads (Logica voor Informatici) which is the second edition of a book of which the third edition (Logica voor Informatica) was already on Goodreads. The titles differ very slightly, though.

When trying to add the 2nd edition I ran into the fact that it already existed! Well, its ISBN existed, but the book it refered to was called 'Logica' and did not mention any authors. I swooped in an edited that book instead, adding all the missing information.

Still, there are two books that are multiple editions of the same book. As mentioned above, their titles differ (marginally). Should they be merged? How would I go about doing that?

Second edition: Logica voor Informatici

Third edition: Logica voor Informatica

Click the check boxes next to the various editions of the same title, then click combine. :)

Banjomike | 5166 comments Looks like he mainly uses "Johan van Benthem" (on his web pages and most books.

with "J. Van Benthem" on a few titles.

and "J.F.A.K. van Benthem" on even fewer titles

I've added links between the pages.
