Jack Clark Raindrops Are The Perfect Lullaby

The echo of the wind stirred through the night and as it did, so did I. The weather wasn't improving my mood as my sleep was ever more so restless within my lonely bed. Rain hit hard against the window and kind of made a small melody of tips and taps. I slowly watched each drop of rain fall down my window pane and started to wonder what it felt like to be a droplet of rain. To be formed out of water, transferred through the air, up into the clouds and then back down to the ground. Being moved from one place to the other by some force and in numbers and sometimes softly and so very little. If I was a droplet of rain I would flow down into the rivers and slowly transform into one of the lucky few that get to be formless and don’t have to worry about the world or being splashed as it lands on the ground. I would flow from one place to the next with a soft piano melody as my theme song and it would accompany me on my travels, witnessing the spectacles of life in motion. Assortment of animals upon riverbanks going about their business with their kin, surviving on nature's natural habitat and occasionally pursing their lips against the river to quench their thirst. Being a rain droplet and falling from the sky and into a river would be a marvellous dream for a rain droplet don’t you think?- then again I would happily be anything and anywhere right now as long as it helped me get to sleep. Yet thinking about the journey of the rain droplet and the views that it sees is helping me drift off into a comfortable, and somewhat enigmatic slumber. So goodnight and I will see you in chapter one.

This makes me want to know more. I liked how you use an extended metaphor with the raindrop. Great Intro! Sorry for the late feedback.

Right now, I'm currently writing my own type of Heroes and Villains stories that were INSPIRED BY(The Avengers 1, Thor 2: The Dark World, Captain America 2: Winter Soldier, The Avengers 2: Age of Ultron).

Each stories I write are different. I even wrote my own Hero World History and made up their Forbidden Land area.
