William Dalrymple, writes books which are fascinating. I have all his books except 'City of Djinns', and this book. I have tried hard to get, 'City of Djinns', but have been despairingly, unsuccessful. This book, promises to be special. I just hope, I can manage to avail of it, due to availability.

Agreed, I picked up a used copy of Return of a King and went from there to more of his work. Found a copy of City of Djinns online and checked out The Age of Kali and Nine Lives: In Search of the Sacred in Modern India from my ibrary. He has a new book out in September on the East India Company.
