Cafe
Aryll opened the door to the café and stepped inside, holding it open for Eden.
Aryll smiled and nodded, following Eden. "Mmhmm." She sat.
Aryll gazed at the menu. A scone or a muffin.. she thought, eyes narrowed slightly.
Aryll smiled reassuringly at her--perhaps-- newfound friend. "And I'll have some mint tea, as well, and a poppyseed scone, please."
Kristian ushered his daughter into the cafe and tried to negotiate the buggy between the tables. He accidentally crashed it into someone's table and apologised with a sheepish smile. He parked the stupid thing against one wall and pulled a chair out for Angharad to pull herself up onto. He knew that if he tried to help she would get angry at him and tell him in her best bossy voice that she was 'a big girl now!' He ordered a coffee for himself and a milkshake for Angharad and a small apple juice for Rhys.
Kylie sat at her table, looking distantly out the window, worrying about her dogs. One of her pups, Darling, had just had an abcess removed, meaning she had to be separated from her mother, and a head thing put on her neck, at seven weeks! She started to drink slowly from her cup of coffee, thoughts playing around in her mind.

Kylie looked up at the pretty girl walking in, looking more like something out of a book than a human with her beautiful wreath of flowers, flowing hair and gorgeous dress. She sighed in wonder as she strode in, absently taking sips of her coffee.
"Yep," replied Aryll, nodding. "If I'd known that you lived this close... Well, I would have tried to find you sooner." She smiled. "I'm a big fan of your books."
Aryll grinned. "Well, I only speak the truth."
Kylie shook her head as she realised she'd been staring. "Hi," she said uneasily, shifting slightly in her seat from nerves. She was very timid and nervous with new people around, after her traumatic past. "I...I'm Kylie," she said hesitantly, smiling a little bit. She was pretty shocked to see the singer, talking and having tea with her as well.
"Er..." Aryll racked her mind. "On Wanderwood Way. Near the library, within walking distance. And rather near the ocean. You?"
Kylie nodded. She wasn't sure why, but she felt it neccessary. She looked out the window to see a boy and a girl on a horse. She blinked in surprise. Not everyday did you see a horse in the city! But then she turned her attention back to Enna. "Sorry, I'm easily distracted, sometimes," she said apologetically.
Andrew sighed as the ride stopped outside the cafe. He got off reluctantly, and put his arms around Iris's to bring her down off the majestic stallion.
Andrew smiled and gestured to an empty table. "I'll go and get our drinks. What would you like?" Kylie smiled. The famous singer, one of her favourites actually, was sitting in front of her and understood her strange ways! She felt herself coming out of her shell a little bit. "So, where do you live around here?" she asked, biting her lip.
"Sounds like a really pretty place to live!" Kylie said, colour starting to show on her face. "Do you live with any pets?"Andrew smiled when Iris winked. "Of course," he whispered back, touching her nose with a cheeky look on his face before straightening and going to the counter.
"Well, my other job, my main one being a writer, is a dog trainer and breeder. But I'm a horrible breeder, as I can't let go of my beautiful babies! At the moment, I am training a pretty border collie, Misty, who is grey and white with blue eyes, a variant. And my own dogs, are nine Golden Retrievers and three Yorkshire Terriers. All my pups are seven weeks old, but the runt of the Yorkie litter, Darling, has just had a lump removed from her neck, at seven weeks! I'm really worried about her, you know," she said, surprised at her big mouth.Andrew placed some coins and notes on the counter, grinning at the waitress, making her blush. "Two cappuchino's, two blueberry muffins, and two slices of chocolate cake," he said, sneaking a glance back at Iris, the girl he seemed to be falling for. He'd been in tons of relationships, but this girl, seemed different somehow. As if something could really happen! The waitress smiled as she shooed him away. "I'll bring them in a moment." And he walked back to Iris.
"I got the waitress to bring us our little meal," he said with a wink. Just then, the smiling waitress came to them, with the two cappuchino's, two muffins and two chocolate cakes. "Hope you enjoy," she said, walking back to the counter. "You heard her, enjoy," he repeated to Iris, but in a friendly way, picking up a blueberry muffin."Yeah, I suppose writing your own songs is like writing your own stories, but you add music," Kylie said, sipping her coffee.
"Well, Iris," Andrew followed, "I'm an author of six books, and in the progress of writing a seventh. You?" He then picked up, after finishing his muffin, his share of the chocolate cake, beginning to stuff his face with it.Kylie just sat there with Enna in contented silence.
"Even the Statue of Liberty?" Andrew joked, finally taking a sip of his cappichino.
Andrew laughed a loud, for what seemed the first time in years. When he looked up again at Iris, his eyes strangely went to her lips, but he quickly pulled them back up to her face, blushing.
Angharad had been staring at one of the young ladies in the cafe for quite some time before she finally turned back to the table and took a sip of her milkshake. Her thirst quenched she then pointed at the person she had been staring at and said: "Daddy, pretty lady has flowers." Kristian flushed bright red."Annie, darling, its rude to point." He was just in the middle of trying to get Rhys to sit in the high chair, and it wasn't going well.
Angharad sighed heavily and dropped her hand, but said loudly: "But Daddy, pretty lady has pretty flowers! Annie pretty. Annie get flowers!" Kristian couldn't help but laugh at this statement, his daughter's logic had always made him smile.
"Yes darling. Annie is very pretty and can have some flowers." The young girl beamed at this and proceeded to pull faces at her brother to make him laugh.

River walked into the cafe and smiled, pushing her sunglasses onto the top of her head. She walked up to the counter and ordered a Peppermint Mocha with a small sandwich. Glancing around at everyone in the room, she walked over to a table in the counter, pulling out her camera and starting to take a couple pictures, leaving it hanging around her neck when the food came.

Aryll swallowed before laughing lightly. Grinning at Eden, she took a sip of her tea.

"Uhh...yes, I do. Some of them are pretty wild, as that's just me," here he smiled at himself. "I have two snakes, two frogs, three iguanas, two dogs, three cats and over fifty large fish living at my place. You?" He half hoped that he would get an oppurtunity to invite her over, and show her around the place.
Kylie looked at her watch and her mouth opened in surprise. She turned back to the singer. "I have to go now, sorry. It's been nice talking to you," and she rushed out of the cafe, running over to her bike, which she quickly hopped on and started pedalling in the direction of the local supermarket.
Brittany walks in the cafe and heads towards the counter. "I'll have a mocha frappe please" she said, as she paid. Once she got her frappe she sits at the nearest table beside the door. She reached for the book inside her bag and started reading.
River watched a girl walk in, smiling as she saw her start reading. Picking her camera up again, she zoomed in on the girls hands, taking a picture of them holding the book, before zooming out again, taking a picture of her upper body. She hoped that she wouldnt freak her out, but she needed some pictures of people reading, and the light had caught the girls face perfectly.
Brittany was reading. When she looked around she notices a girl holding a camera, she didn't know why, so she just smiled kindly at her. Then Brittany starts reading again.
Jen walked in after a long day at work and ordered the biggest cup of coffee they had. Of course what she really wanted was a cup of tea, but she still hadn't gotten used to the taste of the tea in America. She looked around for a free table and realised there weren't any, every one was occupied by at least one person. She headed over to the first table she saw with only one person. "Excuse me, I don't suppose I could sit with you could I? Every where else is full." She gave what she hoped was her most winning smile to the girl sitting by the door.
Brittany looked up to the girl who spoke to her. "Yeah, sure" she said as she smiled and gestured at the empty chair.
"Oh thank you." Jen smiled brightly and sat down gratefully. She pulled a well worn note book out of her bag and rummaged around for a few moments trying to find a pen. She finally found her pencil case and pulled it out. It was a gold coloured metal case in the shape of a mummy. Her best friend back in London had given it to her years ago and it always reminded her of her school years. She extractd a pen from the case and began to doodle some choreography down.
Red walked into the café, the familiar tinkling of the bell ringing as she entered.Today she wore a short, black lace skirt she found in a boutique in Paris with a plain red blouse.
She took her usual seat, near the back of the café by the window. She took out her sketchbook and began to doodle mindlessly before ordering a latte. She noticed the others around her but was too distracted to say anything.
Clara walked into the cafe, headphones around her neck, as usual. She brushed snow off her jacket and walked to an open table. She sat down, then looked at the menu and quickly got in mind what she would order. She put her messenger bag on the back of her chair and looked around, noting all of the people in the cafe.

River breathed a sigh of relief when the girl didnt question or get mad at her. Turning her attention to a pair of girls chatting, she took a couple snapshots of them, both close ups and far aways.
River turned her attention to the girl who had just walked in, and snapped a couple pictures of her before letting her camera go and starting to eat. She was watching everyone, and sometimes if the light hit someone's face perfectly, she would quickly take a picture of it.
Andrew felt himself glow inside, and wondered if Iris could tell how excited he felt. "Are you doing anything after work?" he asked her, shooting her a grin.
"To you work? Sure! Then after that, do you maybe want to come and see my house?" he replied, standing up.
Andrew this time wasn't afraid, so he quickly got up onto the horse, and offered his hand to Iris.
Clara ordered a chocolate chip muffin and a cup of hot chocolate when a waitress walked over to her. She put her headphones on and took her Ipod out. She scrolled through her songs before selecting Remember When by Chris Wallace. She noticed a girl who had a camera, taking lots of pictures. She looked curiously at her for a moment, then away. The waitress brought what she'd ordered over. Clara thanked her with a smile and sipped her hot chocolate.

Clara finished her hot chocolate and muffin after a few minutes. She payed, then stood up, shouldering her messenger bag. She kept her headphones over her ears, her music still playing. She left the cafe, looking around, then deciding to go the field. Why not?
Red watched the girls curiously. She had finished her latte, and sat back in her chair with a sigh. She ordered another one, along with a toffee slice. She was still listening to the conversation as she tapped her pencil on the corner of the table quietly.

Here, this is the picture." she said, holding out the camera to show her. She hoped that the girl wouldn't make her delete it, as it was a pretty good photo.
River smiled, "I'm from Kent. You? and I'm River, River Bell." She smiled at the girl, glancing around the room. There was a boy sitting in one of the corners, the light hitting his face so that the top half of his head was in shadow, while the bottom half was in light. She took a picture of it; she had always loved taking pictures of that sort of thing.
I walk in the cafe, and sit at my usual table. I sigh, and order a coffee. I start to write a new song.
