How Did the Forum Discussions Go?

How did everyone feel about the Google Group discussion?

The first book was the Long Earth and we are now reading the Name of the Wind.

I hadn't figured my new phone out so didn't get the alert reminding me... :( But I did read it and will read the next book out too

I thought it was okay. Didn't seem to have too many people interested or able to make it.

I think I may start fixing the dates to a certain day of the reading period (example: discussions will always take place the Saturday of or after the reading is completed). That will make it easier to remember I think. The books go in 2 month periods. February 1st - March 31st , next book will start April 1st and go through May 31, and so on.

Just thought I'd say, I'm not sure if I'll be able to finish The Name of the Wind before the reading period is over. I start classes full time again on Monday, so I'm not sure if I'll have a lot of time to get any reading in. I may "cheat", though, and see if it's up on Audible.com

It is a rather long book. I'll be traveling for the next month and a half, so I may need more time too. Anyone else want an extension for the reading? Extend it to April 30th?

I think an extension would be great as it is a longer book. I think April 30th sounds reasonable.

Woooooo! April 30th it is :-).... Sorry for the late response. I have been traveling and visiting with family and have not have access to the Internet.
