HM As most of books we add are translated versions of original ones we want to know that how can we show the name of the translator and different translations of that book? for lots of translations from English to Persian(Farsi) people put the name of the translator as the second or third writer and describe in front of his/her name that he/she is the translator. Another way is that to put their name in description feild. As some friends says it may be against the Goodreads rules we want to have your opinion and strongly suggest you to add the optional feild of the translator' name. By the way we will try to modify all previous added books according to your suggestion (command).

Regards

Hi Hamed,

Thanks for asking! It is on our list of things to build to add better support for translaters, editors, illustrators, etc. In the meantime I think putting them in the book's description is probably best.
