Thank you SO much Anthony. I've received it and shall be starting it as soon as I finish the two I am reading now! I can't wait :-)

Thank you! When does the next book come out?

The original ending of Nick the Lolt was a good six chapters later, ending with a bang in some of the first events and confrontations that happen after the current ending. But every beta reader said it was too much of a cliffhanger to see just the beginning of Nick's next adventure, so it got chopped off for the next book.
Genre: YA Fantasy/Adventure
Nick the Lolt
Book Description:
Debates about whether this man is good or bad have raised the fists of close friends and sent them flying toward angry faces. But you should know the beginning of his story. Of this man, who’s coming alone caused regions to evacuate with a force comparable to a hurricane’s approach. To this day many only whisper his name…
the Marsh King…
But at sixteen he was just Nick, a boy who made paintbrushes that obeyed his commands. With those mystic tools he painted pictures that could make you slow to a stop and forget where you were going. More than anything he dreamed of being forgiven by a certain adventurous and illusive girl. She’d caught many a young man’s eye and rarely looked back half as long at any of them as she used to at him. Used to, because there was a dream competing with her in his heart – one of saving his village.
That same village, however, wanted nothing more than to be rid of him for good. Ever since he was six he’d been the target of its scorn and bullies, and such a life taught Nick certain tricks. He and his few friends would need every last one of them if he was to even attempt to compete in the great painting contest that could save the village. Because as just a teen, he’d already made some dangerous enemies…
