Nancy I can't seem to edit it to fix it. I double checked the ISBN # and it is the same but the # of pages listed on the entry is incorrect.

Can someone fix it?

Heather I can fix it, but I'll need a link to the proper edition and the correct page number for this piece.

Nancy Hi Heather,
Thank you. Okay, the ISBN is 0-8423-7507-4 and in the bar code it is 9 780842 375078.
I tried to change the existing book's page # (it is not 300) but it would not let me.
After that, I added an entry for my book, but it would not let me duplicate the ISBN.
So actually the one I am using right now can be deleted once the other entry is corrected.

The book cover photo is correct. The actual page #s for this ISBN is 391 actual pages for the book.
After that there is a Bible Study section called Digging Deeper, which asks questions about the book...so including that section, the pages go to 424.
Not sure what would be more accurate to put down, but it is definitely not 300.

When you say you need a link....does the info I just gave you suffice or should I click on the book which has the error and then highlight the URL?

Thanks!
Nancy

Nancy Here is the URL if I click on the book here on this website http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/28...

Heather It's all taken care of now, Nancy. I put it at 391 because that's where the story itself ends. Thanks for improving the site by posting information.

Nancy Thank you Heather!!!
I really appreciate your help. It may seem silly to get hung up on the # of pages listed, but a big motivator for me is to watch my progress as I read. Maybe it is silly, but it really is helping me to sit down and find the time to read much more.
Having the correct "goal" really does help one to feel like they are on target and really making progress.
Thank YOU for your kindness in making the change!

Heather I understand. It bothers me when listings are wrong because then people get confused, doubt it's the right book, and add new editions, a problem we dealt with when I first started using this site.
I know the motivation behind seeing one's progress on the meter. It's one of the designers' better ideas.

Cassie If you liked First Light you need to read the rest of the series by the Thoenes. Each book gives you insight into the different people whose lives were touched by Jesus. Of course this is fiction but uses historical background and customs of the day to develop each story. I learned from every one of the 12 in this series. Am now reading Jesus Wept which gives you the perspective from Lazarus, Mary and Martha. Hard to put down.
