He put his arm around her, she seemed frighetend and for a reason he couldnt find he felt protective of her. He asked the girl "Why are you sorry?"

"Y-you don't remember but I w-was really mean to you," she sobbed.
He held her and said "I dont remember anything, sorry."
"I know," she mumbled softly.
He just sat there for awhile then said "Whats your name?"
"My name's Anna. I'm 17 and you're 18," she said.
"Your names very pretty." he smiled at her unsure of why he felt this comfortable with her
"Thank you..." she said and looked at him sadly.
"You dont need to be sad..." he said looking down at her
"Yes I do. You don't get it," she replied. Anna stroked his cheek gently.
He smiled when she did that but asked "What dont i get?"
"Everything. You don't understand how much I love you," she said and sighed.
Without realizing he said "I love you too," when he realized what hed said he looked at her confused "I..."
Anna felt a glimmer of hope but it quickly vanished. "Shh. It's okay," she said.
He nodded and looked down. Then he asked her "Do you know how long i have to stay here?"
"Yeah. A few more days so they can take some tests and stuff," she said simply.
He frowned "Oh, are you going to be here?"
"Yeah... I think you're family is going to come to. Do you remember them?" she asked.
He thought for a second then sadly said "No..."
"You don't?" she said with disappointment. She felt so bad for him right now. "So um yeah, I know you don't remember me but I'll be here for you."
He smiled "Well i can kinda see why i had you as a girlfriend" he winked at her then layed back on the pillow feeling tired out
Anna blushed a little and smiled slightly. She sat up and looked at him. "Get some rest okay?"
He reached for her "No dont leave."
Anna looked at him. "Then what do you want me to do?"
He looked down shyly and said "I dunno why but you seem to be the only person that makes me feel okay. Could you just stay with me for a little while?"
"Sure ho- sure Drake. Where do you want me to stay?"
"You could stay right here if you wanted..." he said indicating where she had been layying "You dont have to though"
Anna smiled and snuggled a little closed to him. "Okay."
He smiled and held her closing his eyes slowly slidng into sleep
Anna closed her eyes and fell asleep soon enough.
He had odd dreams of fragmented images of people and places. Some of them were Anna. He woke up later just as the doctor walked in
The doctor smiled slightly at them. Anna was still asleep but she woke up in a second.
"Remember, no sex," the doctor teased but then got serious. "Hello Drake."

He smiled and said "Aw come on." then also got a little serious "Hey doc"
Anna blushed bright red and looked over at Drake.
"Hello. How are you feeling?"

He shrugged "Mostly fine except for my lack of memories."
"Alright. You are free to go, in a few hours. Do you have any family we can call, that you remember?"
Drake shook his head "Nope, all i remember is from when i woke up in the hospital to now."
"Alright," he said. "I'm very sorry. You two are free to go, though you may want to change into some other clothes..."
Anna looked at the hospital gown he was in and smirked.

The doctor smiled. "I'll go get something," he said kindly.

He wrapped his arm around her "Alright i guess i believe you," he smiled and asked "Do you know where i live because i seem to have forgotten?"
"Yeah I know where you live," she said and nodded. Anna felt really bad for him right now...
He smiled "Good, i dunno what id do without ya"
"You'd be fine, with your memories," she said sadly. "Anyways," she cleared her throat, "Are you ready?"
He smiled "Well then i guess its good i dont have them if that means you wouldnt be here." he sat up and said "Yea im ready how bout you?"
Anna was surprised a little... he already accepted her as his girlfriend? Did he?
"I'm ready too," she said and nodded. Anna stood up as the doctor came back in with some clothes.
