She pursed her lips, mentally cursing herself for blushing so much. "True..." she said decidedly.
He took her hand and led her inside
She squeezed his hand as they walked in.
He squeezed her hand too and waited for the waitress to come over

A few minutes later a beach blonde waitress with curly hair walked over, a slight bounce to her step. "Hello! Table for two, huh?" she smiled brightly at Drake, but smirked a little at Anna. It looked like she was thinking How the heck did that girl end up with him...?

Anna swallowed and just nodded a little.
"Alrighty then..." she said with fake cheerfulness, and turned around. She lead them over to a table in the back, by a window. There weren't any booths at the restaurant, for some reason.

He sat down then when the waitress was gone he said "I cant belive that woman"
Anna shrugged, looking down at her lap. She didn't say anything, right now.
He reached across the table "Hey are you alright?"
She looked at him, and smiled a strained smile. "Yeah."
He shook his head "Dont lie, i know somethings wrong. What is it?"
"Nothing... well, okay. I just.. don't understand why..." she shrugged and looked down again. "Why you like me," she muttered.
His face was symppathetic when he got up and went around the table. he crouched right next to her and held her hand "I thought i already told you why i liked you"
She looked at him. "But... but are you sire it's not because you feel bad for me?"
HE sighed "I liked you before i knew about your dad remember?"
She shrugged. "Yeah, I guess so..."
He said "Listen, i like you for you okay. Dont let stupid waitresses or anything make you doubt that okay?"
Anna nodded. "I'll try not to," she said quietly.
He held out his arms "Come here."
She hugged him, closing her eyes for a minute.
He held her for a moment hoping she'd be okay
She finally pulled away. "Thank you," she said.
Anna shrugged. "Just thank you," she said simply.
She nodded. "Yes, I think so," she said.
((back))"Want me to sit next to you? I could pull over a chair."
She shook her head. "Nah, that's okay," she said with a smile.
"Alright" he stood up and went back around the table
Anna flashed him a shy smile. She didn't know what to talk about.
He smiled back at her "So after this what do you wanna do?"
She shrugged. "Well, I don't know... um..." Anna didn't know what most people did.
He shrugged "We could go back to my house, or we could go to the park. I really dont care which"
"Um... park, if that's alright?" she asked.
She smiled. "Okay," she said softly.
"So you ready to eat some food?"
She nodded, but looked at the menu. "I'm ready to eat, but I don't know what to eat...."
He grinned "Oh yea i forgot to look at what they have"
She giggled. "Yeah, that's important..."
She looked through the menu, and shrugged. "I still don't know...."
She pouted a little as she looked through it again.
