OK I'm around 80% done, here are my thoughts so far!

(view spoiler)[ I loved the beginning, how Day and June were together, how things felt between them, it was a great transition from the last book. The whole Day and Tess thing sort of bothered me because she felt so much younger than him in the first book, almost like a little sister, but I guess kids grow up! And Anden is a REALLY interesting character, almost reminds me of Mayor Prentiss in The Knife of Never Letting Go series, because you can't tell if he's good or bad. I'm thinking bad still lol! I sort of hated that June felt something for him, she needs to be loyal to Day!

I'm really enjoying seeing the world building now that they've reached the Colonies too, I'm quite excited to find out how this one ends! (hide spoiler)]

(view spoiler)[ Okay so I'm at the part were they just got on the airship, and they have found June, but we haven't gotten to her perspective yet. So far, I'm kind of thinking this is kind of an asinine plan! I don't like the Day and June will be separated, I think that is asking for trouble! I feel bad for Tess, and I think the situation with Tess could be problematic later in the book. I feel really bad for Day, his nightmares are horrible! (hide spoiler)]

I'm now 58% of the way in.

(view spoiler)[ Woah, things have sure changed fast! I agree with June in not really trusting the Patriots. Mainly because they don't have a plan after the revolt takes place. Who's going to lead? What are they going to do with the military and senators? We don't know anything about the colonies, what if they are worse than the Republic? But I also don't trust the new elector, either. I just don't know!! (hide spoiler)]

Lol I'm 83% in and will finish tonight and put my final comments up in spoilers. Lu definitely is surprising me at the moment!

I finished it! OMG...I'm in kind of a stupor right now!

(view spoiler)[ First of all...the ending...NOOOOOOOO!!! And I can't believe Day didn't tell June! Now we are going to have to probably wait a year to find out what happens! But he can't die!!
I was right about the Patriots, at least about Razor anyways. I thought the whole thing seemed too suspicious and easy. I wish Day would have just trusted June, she's easily the smartest person in the book! That fight they had was awful! Another reason I'm kind of mad Day didn't tell June the truth...she's going to blame everything on herself. UGH!
Well, it appears Anden is good after all, but I've read so many dystopians, and its not over until the fat lady sings! Who knows, he might not be all that he seems either.
There's so much left for the last book--Day dying, June being the Princep or not, Anden, Tess, the plagues, the overbearing government, and the colonies...This will be one epic conclusion I think! (hide spoiler)]

Lol yaaaaay!! I finished too and loved it too!!! (view spoiler)[ Can you say argh!! Why didn't Day just tell her! I hated that and I thought he was going to leave without touching her but at least she went after him, but still...argh! Nice job guessing the Razor thing, my thought at the time was that it was stupid of Razor to order the convoy on because that would give him away but I couldn't figure out why he did it. I'm pretty shocked Anden might just be good, but kind of glad too :) and what about Kaede? Wow, all that incredible flying and then she dies? Ugh, Lu you are just mean to us! Agree, so much still to come in the last book! Oh I was a little disappointed that Day didn't have more tender moments with Eden before the end :) Very good though, now we wait.... (hide spoiler)]
