I have a question. Are we reading books written by group members, or any books? Sorry, it's a dumb question, but I want to clarify . . .
Not a dumb question Jaima, I've also been wondering what happened with the book club idea - did it just fizzle out?
Hey guys, not fizzling out. Just been super busy. To answer your question, for now we are only focusing on books written by group members (books entered in ABNA). I've also just been trying to make sure I'm giving enough time for people that are new to the group to add their book. (Some of our genre shelves only have a couple books) I'll try and have the polls up soon.
Hey Mikhail would it be possible to add my book Eden to the mystery thriller section as well. My book is a bit of a genre bender but if it's only one book per category I understand. Thanks!

I think I had it in the sci-fi/fantasy/horror shelf. There's no point in adding it to a different one, since we'll only read each book once. I say put it in whatever genre you entered it in. More for organizational purposes than anything.

-Note to any new members adding their book after today. I will not be adding it to this months book club polls. It will have to wait for the next round of polls.
Just a note on mine (Four Fiends) It is the book I have published, but it is not in the ABNA contest--my entry in the contest isn't self-published. Is that ok?

I think there are a couple books like that, I think it is fine. It gives us a chance to see your writing style.

I could use some advice regarding my book's listing. Not sure if this is something that a person with Librarian status could fix. If/when my novel Lunar Dance comes up in the rotation to be read, I notice there only appear to be links to the hard and soft cover versions. I also have the book available for Kindle, Nook and iPad for $2.99, but I can't seem to determine how to link that to my book's listing. Any ideas? Regards, Robert

If you don't have the "add a new addition" option you'll need to request librarian status. It's easy to get you just need to add a certain amount of books to your shelf and make the request. It's worth doing because they'll make you a "goodreads author" and set you up an author profile page where your "fans" can check you out. It's just kind of fun. I could add the versions for you but you have the cover photo and isbn or asin numbers plus you can fill out the info the way you want it (book description etc). Not sure if I helped, but I hope so.
Hi Mikhail, I have two questions. How do I get my book, the one I entered on ABNA on your shelf? I noticed the other day that I have the wrong cover on one of my books. I tried to replace it with the correct one and got a message I needed library status. I have applied but haven't heard back. Any way you can help me with this?
Peggy, I'm not a goodreads librarian. I don't know how to change covers.
J, from our group page scroll down and add your book to the shelf. Pick the to-read shelf, and whatever category you entered your book in.

I think I did it but it's not showing up for me. Would you kindly check and see if it's there? Thanks.

I think, for the most part, I have categorized all of the books correctly. But you may want to find your book on the shelf and make sure it's in the correct genre.
Now when we look on our homepage, it looks as though all of the books are gone, but they're not. Only the books marked 'read' will appear on our homepage. Let me know if you have any questions.
