Finding Hope
Matthew laughed. "I'm sure it doesn't matter." he said nervously. "We need to find Elpis. Maybe she can translate the prophecy and help us find Hope. After all, she is the goddess of hope."
Henry ran, pulling on December's arm. The night sky felt warm on his skin, and the feeling of hope and adventure tingled inside him. Then his heart dropped.
"That just might be bad. So, we have to travel across the country. Hmm..." Matthew flipped his black ring and jumped onto the panther. "Hop on Avalon." He flipped the white ring, and Tari and Dawn got the message. "Kira... have any form of transportation?"
"Good. I hope these things fly." Right on cue, the cats hovered in the air. "Kira, you good?"
"yeah..." Kira whistled. a white pegasus appeared in front of her. "Skye"
"Good luck! Stay safe!" Epimetheus called after them as they flew off into the sky.
((we should probably wait until the other people are on they will be like wow what happened! new quest! and my bro wants the computer :P))
((thats a stupid question. toil just caught them. unless december is blind...))"Well look what we have here. An escape attempt, hmm? Well, I'll show you escape!" He pulled their bodies toward plows and forced them to pick them up. They were carried over to the field. "Plow! Don't come back 'til mornin'!"
Matthew only realized once they were in the sky that this trip might take over a week. How would they travel that fast? Whenever you need me, you know what to do. "Uh... Eurus? You out there? Listen, we have to--" They were blown west before he could finish the sentence. Matthew's hair flew backward. He smiled "Thanks... guardian." He laughed, twirling the panther through the sky. Avalon's hands felt warm and soft. He wanted to fall asleep, but he was steering. He was in command, and he wasn't going to let people down.
"Oh, it's perfectly safe." Matthew laughed. He pulled out from his black satchel a baguette and split it in half. "Anyone want bread?" He tore off a giant hunk and stuffed it in his mouth. "Ifz wewwy gug."
"O, yuh" he swallowed. "That might be bad."
"Well." He took another bite. "Epimetheus might be wrong." Kira shot him a warning glance as he took another bite. "Or... mahe yo immoon to if." He swallowed. "I'm sure Epimetheus is never wrong!" They flew in silence for the next half hour, determining Tari's fate.
"Yes. Sorry, this bread is so good!" The wind died down a little. "I think we're getting close"
((oh btw my character in the kane chronicles group, Jasper Nightshade (cousin of Zoe Nightshade and Kira Nightshade), is the son of Prometheus, so i was thinking he could show up at the end and introduce us to Brooklyn house and we could have chb characters there! cause that group is so inactive but then the demigods will come and it will go back to awesomeness))

"You are a hopeful person." Matthew laughed.
The cats started to descend into a small city. "City of Hope here we come!"
The cats landed on a deserted green hill. Matthew could see no one until he noticed a little girl sitting in the grass, weeping.
((yea, make her float or glow or whatever you want. this is elpis, she is crying cause hope is lost. also we should do most of this when avalon is here cause elpis needs to interpret the prophecy))
"Who are you? We are looking for Elpis. You aren't her, are you?" He pulled out a roll and nibbled on it nervously.
"Ok then, how is this girl going to help us with our quest? Can you speak the language of the dead, perhaps?" ((say yes, and explain how we must defeat Anger, Trickery, Toil, Gossip, and Envy, the five main evils))
"Ok, so we need to defeat... who now?"
"Who are the five evils?" Matthew wasn't ready to trust a girl who belonged in the insane asylum.
"Great. Words. More words. Where can these be found?" ((the five biggest cities in america: Philadelphia, Houston, Chicago, Los Angeles, and New York))
((New York: Toil, Philadelphia: Anger, Chicago: Trickery, Houston: Gossip, and Los Angeles: Envy))
((oh, and to take us back to new york, Kira, since she is the daughter of the past, can bring us back to former places we have been))
((ik you told me :P))"Ok, and those would be...? Anyone here smart?" "I am." a girl walked up the hill. She had shining silver hair and sinister grey eyes. She wore a black cloak. "Helping you with your quest would be my honor." She smiled.
((w8! what is epimethius' "power" thing? time?))
"I am Sophia Lunario. I was sent from my mother who is... worried about your quest." Sophia waved her hand and a silver staff appeared. She twirled it, but instead of falling, it hovered in the air. She hopped onto it, riding it like a witch's broom. "Shall we go? We don't need this silly girl who calls herself a goddess. First stop: New York."
Matthew felt guilty leaving her, but the longer they waited the longer she would cry. "How are we going to get back to New York in less than a week without the wind on our side? Tari doesn't have that much time left!" ((gtg watching a movie ill be on tomorrow morning a lot so you can post a lot without me))
((were not supposed to take her. oh and make her tell you you only have about a week to live so we have a time limit for the quest. those are always fun!))
"Sorry, but we're wasting time. We have no idea how much longer you have Tari!" He flipped the black ring. "Let's go guys."
((just a question that has never been answered to me or maybe i just forgot, what is spamming??))
((oh so am i spamming right now or is it the stuff we saying in parenthesis without the parenthesis?))Henry shivered from the thin frost around him. He continued to plow, not talking in fear of firing up more of an argument.
Matthew flipped the white ring and Tari hopped on. "You only have a week to live! Spend it wisely, keeper of Hope!" Elpis sobbed as we flew away into the sky. ((sorry had to do Elpis for that part before we left her)) "How are we going to get to New York if she only has a week to live? We'll barely have enough time!" ((your turn Kira :P))
"Sounds good. Anyone against shadow travel?" Matthew took a bite of bread.
"Dead? Your dying in a week, not tonight! I say we do it's your best shot. Ready Avalon?"
He swallowed. "Be prepared to crash into a wall." ((translation: I see. Weird. Ok then. Lets go!"))
