Your reading habits are like a mirror image of my own, so I see quite a few interesting conversations in our futures! :)
If you are looking to broaden your tastes, you might want to consider participating in the Official Spring Challenge. It's fun and addictive and will definitely get you reading some new stuff!
Beware though, the group might cut into your reading time just as much as college does.
Hi Lily. Nice to meet you, and thanks for joining.
Reading is a great thing, and reading MORE is even better :)

Hi Lily, Welcome and happy reading! (I agree, the challenges are great.)
What branch of science are you studying and/or interested in reading? (I'm a frustrated biologist... gave it up to find a more lucrative area, and now I'm unemployed anyway... *sigh*)

Hi Angela, I sure hope you arent stalking that boy anymore. But you will find tons of things to read here. We have a few threads down in the lists section on Fantasy and Science Fiction so check them out.

Becky - Awesome, thank you for the pointer! It does look like a great challenge. I'm going to get to work on my reading list right now. :D
Hayes - Biology, mainly the molecular side of things, and also evolution. Lately I've been doing some reading on astrobiology.
astrobiology, cool... what do you recommend?

Thanks! I'll give them a try. I don't know if I'll be able to find them inthe library here (highly unlikely) but I'll save them for my next trip back to the states!!

I've always been a fan of fantasy, but lately I've been reading more historical fiction and classics, and generally trying to broaden my tastes. As a science student, I'm also attempting to read more science books apart from what I need to read for school. It may or may not be working.
Anyway, I'm excited to be a part of this group, and I look forward to discovering many more books here.
