Dr. Peter McCarty – your impression of him, his role as doctor and how dynamics of his fit in the story.

This being a mystery, to me, he was just another possible suspect. I thought it was pretty creative to make him a doctor-slash-sleazebag, which added a layer of complexity that is often lacking in whodunnits.

I liked him a lot and was pulled in his spell. Being quite charming and very likeable. The type of doctor he is, and how he was being used was interesting to me. To have all the different women in is life, and having three of them on the hike was quite interesting. Kind of made him a red herring as well as some of the others.

Julie | 168 comments I thought the whole "vacationing with wife, girlfriend, and ex" was rather interesting. I wish we had more info on the blackmailing thing, since I didn't really get that part. And it's pretty creepy that so many women fall for their gynecologist, especially in Frieda's case because he was her mom's doc. But I suppose excessive background info would slow the suspense...
