The Darkest Hour
question
What do you think of the book/series?

I started reading this series with no expectations. I found myself reading one book after another in the series. I thought Ms. Bank did a great job telling the stories of different characters. She kept these characters interwoven throughout the series and still able to put the spotlights on the main characters. I enjoyed the series immensely. I fell in love with the Kelleys and wished I have a family like theirs.
I enjoyed this series, I did have my favorites and I was actually a little disappointed in Cole and PJ's story in Shades of Gray. There were several strong elements and then certain things that just fell short.
This series got me turned on to both Lora Leighs Navy SEALS and Elite Ops Series. SOOO GOOD! Anyone read those?

I've read all the books in the series, I love the way she writes. I have a couple of her other books, the Sweet series is really good
I've read all the books in the series. The first I read was "Whispers in the dark" and I loved it so much!!
The only one I didn't like was "Hidden Away". I got bored with that one. The last in the series with the story of P.J. and Cole (Shades of Gray)was also a great read! I love that the female characters in her books are so strong. They overcome so much and they are an integral piece in the life of their husbands. Maya Banks, in my opinion, has found the perfect equilibrium and chemistry between her characters and writes memorable stories that you remember long after finishing them.

I love the series can't wait for the next book they just get better and better. I read all her series and book's so far haven't read one yet I don't like...
The best of the series is definitely The Darkest Hour and Whispers in the Dark, I enjoyed all of them but those two stood out.
I love this series, but Garret's, Rio's and Nathan's stories were my least favorite. almost lost interest, but looking forward to reading about Steele.
I love the KGI series. My absolute favorite is "Hidden Away". Big, ol' grumpy Garrett is my favorite Kelley. I loved the way Sarah brought out a side of him, or saw a side of him, that his family didn't see. Their love story was the most powerful to me because Garrett and Sarah brought out the best in each other. She softened him and he made her strong. When Garrett admitted that he was afraid before they made love for the first time, I just melted.
I love this series. I can not wait for Donovan and Joe to get their story.
I love this series. They only books I didn't like was Book 4 and 5.
I loved this series & look forward to more books coming out in it. Unfortunately I started this series on Rio's book then went back & bought all the others to finish reading in order. Ethan & Rachel & Garret & Sarah were my favorite books though. Like others this series got me interested in others like it by different authors such as Lora Leigh & Mia Dyamond.
So far I have enjoyed all the books in the series I cant wait for the rest
