Separate entries for separate editions?

Hi librarians,

I just wanted to check I understood what to do before I risked messing up the system.

I have an ebook listed on goodreads, with an ASIN. There is also a paper edition, not listed here, which I want to use for a giveaway.

I had a look at the book edit page, but got scared off by the pop-up warning about including both an ASIN and ISBN.

Am I right in thinking I should make a completely new book entry for each edition - so a new entry for the paper copy?

Yes, make a new edition for paperback format with isbn then combine with the kindle edition format that has the asin.

One distinct work/book with two editions/formats.
