Question about Title

I came across The Twelve Tribes of Hattie while I was browsing today and noticed that it has "Oprah's Book Club 2.0" added to it where the Series usually goes and it has it added to the book description along with a link to the GR group of the same name.

My question is: Is any of that legitimately supposed to be there? I've never seen a book description that has group link it or has the book club listed as the series.

Should I remove it or is it supposed to be there? I didn't want to preemptively do it only to find out it was okay for it stay.

I don't think so. The only links should be an official url to book's page on author website/blog (or on publisher's site). Possibly some Oprah book club information might be appropriate in the awards section.

That's the impression I was under, as well. :)


ETA: I did just notice that this a GR Author though and from what I've read recently, we're not really encouraged to do much to their books. I think I'll just leave it be until otherwise directed.

Thanks, Rivka. I didn't go into the editing page of the book prior to posting, I suppose that was my mistake. I just had come across it and decided to ask before moving any further along.

I did not "edit details" to see either.

Is that just this book allowed the promotional Oprah stuff and links to goodreads group?

Or is this true for all the Oprah selections and we need to leave them alone?

Does look someone has since removed the series information; it's not in any series at all.

I expect that any other book so affected would also have a Note.
