Will the real publisher please step forward...

I've noticed this issue before too. It seems like the kind of thing where an entry in a database got changed incorrectly at some point and spread to everywhere on the internet, as sometimes happens these days.
I just checked one of these at random (a book on DIY Wallpaper) on Worldcat and the publisher given there is Time-Life Books.
As Time Life Medical is a division of Time Life Books, it might make sense to merge the former into the latter. (For all those which an actual human author/editor isn't known, of course.)

I have found medical books published by "Time-Life Medical", yet an ABEbooks publisher search for "Time-Life Medical" returns many of my books I know are published by Time-Life Books...
Rivka, when I look on Goodreads and see what I can do to help I've found adding some accuracy and putting together series or combining editions for Time-Life books could be my niche! I'll verify from sources like Worldcat and LibraryThing before I change any entries for books (like creating series) that I don't actually have in hand.
Thank you both! (and I'll try not to make too many mistakes you have to fix!)

While browsing the famous authors; Time-Life Books, Time Life, The Editors of Time Life, Paul and the Editors of Time Life Magazine O'neil etc., etc. I often find, as in the book above (forget that the title is wrong and there are no ratings, details etc.) the publisher listed as: "Time Life Medical"
I've found this publisher listed for at least 30 of my books, and since the books always say "Time-Life Books" is the publisher I change it. For Example I have an earlier edition of "The Studio" (no isbn...old like me!)published by "Time-Life Books, New York".
Is there, was there, could there possibly be such a publishing entity as "Time-life Medical", NOT involved in medical books?
Why are so many fix-it, how to, gardening etc. listed on goodreads with Time-Life Medical as the Publisher?
I'm just curious...
