I'm at 56%. I'll have questions in a little bit since I've already done supper and I'm reading now. Just a happy FYI- we got a prom dress :) I'll post pics of that later too :)

I love to see other people shopping :D *jumps up and down and claps*
Bear with me, I'm trying this from my phone. I added the photobucket app and am trying to post a pic :)
ShoSho **The sick chick** wrote: "Wow I love the style and colour and looks so good on her ."Thanks! We like it too :) it was the first one she tried on at the dress shop here in town. We traveled to Huntsville this morning (about 40 minutes) To go to a particular store. Their website said they opened at 9, the thing on the door said 11. So we had to waste time since we got to Huntsville at about 8:45. She didn't like what she tried on there so we came home and went to the place here. Like I said, that was the first dress she put on. Then she tried about 6 more. None looked as good as that one :) it was $200 off the regular price so we got it :) now, she needs shoes and jewelry. That will have to be next week though. I'm out of money LOL
They call it formal here and most of the dresses they have for it are just ugly and too pricey . It seems this having to go the prom is an expensive thing!
Susan's Questions for Ch 9 - 159. I shouldn't even ask this, but did y'all skim the love scene aka ch 9? LOL I did and I usually don't...so you know it was getting pretty bad.
10. So, Luc went talk to Daddy Arthur and Devil. Could someone explain to me why he needed to talk to Devil? Didn't getting her Dad's permission to marry make it alright?
11. DID I READ THAT RIGHT??? Devil hadn't told Honoria that he loved her? And ShoSho pointed out that he still never said the exact words. I probably would have thrown the book had it been in paper at that point. Comments?
12. Do you think waiting to tell her doesn't need her money will bite him in the tush? I honestly don't think she'll care. What do you think?
13. I loved the casualness of the wedding. It was like a family picnic. Comments?
14. Finally Mr Kirby is now wanting her to steal stuff for him. Do you think Edward got any of the other things? And a nursemaid saw her returning. The mystery is moving waaaaayyy too slow for me.
15. I like how comfortable Amelia and Luc already are. She seems to fit in very well in his area, but I'm getting tired of reading about their everyday happenings. I want something to happen. This story seems to be dragging along with no real plot.
Lisa Kay wrote: "Got the Photobucket app! Didn't even think about looking to see if they had one. Thanks, Susan."no problem! I've learned how to copy and paste on my iPhone this last week and now with this app I'm soooo cool ;)
Lisa Kay wrote: "O.M.G.! That is gorgeous,Susan! It is PB&J* time for awhile, LOL!
*Peanut Butter and Jelly."
thanks! Yep, PB&J and Ramen noodles ;) Thankfully, I've already grocery shopped for the week.
ShoSho **The sick chick** wrote: "They call it formal here and most of the dresses they have for it are just ugly and too pricey . It seems this having to go the prom is an expensive thing!"
Yes, very expensive. And they go do something before prom. Jenna and her friends went play paintball for their pre-prom activity, came home got ready for prom, went to dinner and then prom. I'm not sure what Lauren and her friends and date are planning. She said something about a movie. That might not be too bad.
9-yep skipped all of them , every single one!10-It seemed in this one SL only had the idea of the first chapter and then she had to put some nonsense and too many sexy scenes in it to fill the pages.
11-Yep after 8 books he hadn't told her! That just doesn't make sense.
12-I think not telling her making it worse ,because she is thinking the dogs and all the new stuff he is doing is because her money . Is it really that hard confessing your love to the one you love?!
13-No it was good , I liked the outdoor table and all
14-No I don't Edward got anything other that the first 2 items. The mystery is not even a mystery !Ughhh
15-There is nothing in this one other than sex and his struggles to tell her that he loved her and he didn't marry her because of her money!
ShoSho, re #9, I'm skipping them too and I usually don't. I'm dying for this book to be over and I hate feeling that way.
Susan (susayq) wrote: "ShoSho, re #9, I'm skipping them too and I usually don't. I'm dying for this book to be over and I hate feeling that way."I want it to be over too :( that's not good
@Susan wow its a petty dress, your daughter looks lovely :)As for the book, sorry guys but this book bore me :(
I expected something funny because the intro scene was perfect,...but it went downhill and I couldn't see chemistry between luc and Amelia, they're no fun
June wrote: "@Susan wow its a petty dress, your daughter looks lovely :)As for the book, sorry guys but this book bore me :(

no this one seems to be the worst so far! 1 , 2 , 4, 5 6 were so great I couldn't put them down , and then it went downhill from 7
Ok will get my answers up tomorrow, just finished ch. 16. Bored with the sex and lack of plot. It's like, they ate breakfast and discussed some estate business then 10 pg sex scene. Then they went riding around the estate and then 12 pg sex scene. Then they eat dinner and drink a glass of wine, then 8 pg sex scene. Nothing's happening! I'm disappointed here... I was so looking forward to the twins' stories, but I'm not impressed. Sigh...
Oh yea, then they took a walk in the gardens and had a 6 pg sex scene xDI like the dress, very pretty color. :)
Kit★'s Answers to Susan's Questions for Ch 9 - 159. I shouldn't even ask this, but did y'all skim the love scene aka ch 9? LOL I did and I usually don't...so you know it was getting pretty bad.
Oh yea, I'm definitely skimming them. It's like just on and on about feelings and sensations and blah, I'm not digging it. It's not hot enough for me to keep reading so much of it. So I've been just glancing through them til the 'plot' picks up again. And I put marks around plot because it's hard to call it a plot when nothing's happening!
10. So, Luc went talk to Daddy Arthur and Devil. Could someone explain to me why he needed to talk to Devil? Didn't getting her Dad's permission to marry make it alright?
I'm guessing it was because as the Duke and highest ranking member of the family, Devil is like the leader of the entire family tree, even if he's still young. Yea, you'd think asking her father would be good enough, but I guess since Martin went to Devil about Amanda, Luc had to too for Amelia.
11. DID I READ THAT RIGHT??? Devil hadn't told Honoria that he loved her? And ShoSho pointed out that he still never said the exact words. I probably would have thrown the book had it been in paper at that point. Comments?
Oh yea. When he was hinting to Luc there about needing to say it, get it out there, I was like, oh sheet, in the 7 years since his book happened, he's never, ever once said it!? Oh man, poor Honoria. And then I go thinking he's going to make some big declaration to her, but it was lame. Like... 'Did I ever tell you I love you?' 'No, no you haven't.' 'Well, I do.' 'Ok, great to know, thanks honey!' Lol. What a cop out. *eye-roll*
12. Do you think waiting to tell her he doesn't need her money will bite him in the tush? I honestly don't think she'll care. What do you think?
I dunno, I'm thinking she might make a stink about it, just to put some drama in the story. But yea, he should tell her. He should've told her as soon as they were married, it wasn't like she could back out of it by then, as his excuse for not telling her in the first place was that he didn't want her to decide to not marry him.
13. I loved the casualness of the wedding. It was like a family picnic. Comments?
It was alright, but I thought it should've been a little more than the couple pages it was. If SL can spend 14 pages on a sex scene, she can spend more than 30 seconds on the wedding. It was like they got hitched, hurried through all the greetings and thank yous, and then ran off to his house to have sex.
14. Finally Mr Kirby is now wanting her to steal stuff for him. Do you think Edward got any of the other things? And a nursemaid saw her returning. The mystery is moving waaaaayyy too slow for me.
Probably not, this sheisty guy is probably keeping it all. And yes, moving way too slow, I want this bad guy to get a little more dangerous and stuff, and something more than missing trinkets to worry about.
15. I like how comfortable Amelia and Luc already are. She seems to fit in very well in his area, but I'm getting tired of reading about their everyday happenings. I want something to happen. This story seems to be dragging along with no real plot.
Yea, they get along like they've been married forever. Agree about the boredom, only so much eating, walking, talking to the housekeeper, sitting in the drawing room I can stand. No plot, like this could've been a novella and been a little more exciting, cutting out all the boring stuff. Or maybe not, it'd probably still be boring. :\ It's not that I don't like the characters, but the lack of goings on is wearing on me. I don't like feeling bored with a book either, and it's making me almost scared to read the next one. :o
Susan (susayq) wrote: "June, book 4 was my favorite, this one, not so much."That was Demon and Flick right? I liked that one too :)
Shosho's questions for 16- to the end16-Yep , chapter 16 started with a sex scene , I was reading some reviews last night , most of them were saying they skipped half of the book because there just too many sex scenes! I can sum up the whole book in a couple of sentences .Amelia asked Luc to marry her then they sneaked around and had sex then they got married and had more sex in bed mostly then a few not related stuff happened and he told he loved her and then they had sex .comments?
17-How do you like Luc’s sisters? Portia is the next heroine , Simon’s . I didn’t them like that much ! and I didn’t like that Amelia was managing them , it seemed that their mother was an invalid or something .
18-Where do you expect me to invent questions from??? Really?
19-where they blind that they didn’t see it was Fiona? I hated that Luc was thinking about his mother and sisters as the culprits !! he should have more faith in his family .And that gathering and having Helena showcase her necklace for everyone to see was just ridiculous !Comments ?
20-Amelia proved to be the biggest TSTL by following the Kirby fellow to the jungle. I think it didn’t make sense that this guy knew about Luc’s financial and then Amelia was feeling guilty about the stuff she had said and then she figured it out and she was angry for a nanosecond and then they had sex. Comments? Was it really a big deal to take his d*k in her mouth?
Sorry I didn't sleep last night more than 1 or 2 hours , had to go to the airport for the in-laws at 1am and then didn't fall sleep until 4:30 and I'm at work now . So the Qs are not the best

17-How do you like Luc’s sisters? Portia is the next heroine , Simon’s . I didn’t them like that much ! and I didn’t like that Amelia was managing them , it seemed that their mother was an invalid or something .They seemed rather snobby and I didn't get that vibe from their mom or other sisters. I found it a little odd that Simon was hanging around with them...he's 19 and they're 13 and 14? However, watching him and Portia go at was interesting. I'm curious to see them together when they're older
18-Where do you expect me to invent questions from??? Really? BWWWAAAHAHAHAHAHA
19-where they blind that they didn’t see it was Fiona? I hated that Luc was thinking about his mother and sisters as the culprits !! he should have more faith in his family .And that gathering and having Helena showcase her necklace for everyone to see was just ridiculous !Comments ? the whole use the necklace bit was ridiculous! And did you notice that Amelia referred to the necklace as gift from her grandfather? Umm, no. It was her uncle. The author should be able to keep that straight.

Kit★'s Answers to Shosho's Questions for Ch. 16-End16-Yep , chapter 16 started with a sex scene, I was reading some reviews last night, most of them were saying they skipped half of the book because there just too many sex scenes! Nah, I think you got it there, lol. I agree there were too many sex scenes, too much purply prose, and I skipped most of them too. And I hate doing that, but I just couldn't take it anymore. And even still I feel bad about it, but I just couldn't help it :(
17-How do you like Luc’s sisters? Portia is the next heroine, Simon’s. I didn’t them like that much! and I didn’t like that Amelia was managing them, it seemed that their mother was an invalid or something.
I dunno, I didn't mind them so much. But what of poor Anne? Being older shouldn't she be married first before Portia? I was also wondering why Simon was hanging around with them when Emily and Anne were more his age being 18 and 17. I guess I sorta understand maybe him feeling protective, after all he has 2 younger sisters (whose books are on the way soon I've seen), but I don't see him being attracted in a romantic way to Portia in this one, though I could see it happening in the future. Penelope has a story too doesn't she, yea it's
, not listed as a Cynster book now but it used to be. I viewed Amelia taking charge of his sisters more as a friendly thing, like letting them have someone closer to their own age coaching them on fashion and men rather than their mother, but yea, it was a little too convenient that Minerva just stepped out of the picture almost.18-Where do you expect me to invent questions from??? Really?
From out of the air of course! Or you could pull 'em from a hat? Lol :D
19-Were they blind that they didn’t see it was Fiona? I hated that Luc was thinking about his mother and sisters as the culprits!! he should have more faith in his family. And that gathering and having Helena showcase her necklace for everyone to see was just ridiculous! Comments?
I agree the whole plan to enthrall a party of a hundred and some people with a sparkly necklace was a little over the top. And Susan, totally on Sebastian being called her grandfather!! I caught that too and was like, what?! I even looked back at the family tree to be sure, though I knew that Amelia's father was Sebastian's brother, not son. Sheesh... I was a little irritated Luc kept thinking it was Anne too, even after everyone who was in on the plan assured him that it wasn't because they could discern from her behavior and such that she was innocent. It's like, Fiona went everywhere with them, and then after the wedding, everyone forgot all about her. Duh people... why they never even thought to wonder about her when they were suspecting his sisters, I dunno. I mean, she was constantly with his sisters at these places, so it should be automatic that if you suspect them, suspect her too. *eyeroll, again*

Yea, I thought her throwing things reaction was stupid. Oh no, my husband's rich! Let's throw a fit about it. Geez Louise. I guess it was acceptable the guy knew about Luc's status when he knew about the other places he was telling Fiona to steal stuff from. As for the head... didn't you know that everyone gives amazing, soul shattering, earth-bending blow-jobs on their first ever attempt? /sarcasm And he was thinking she was doing it exactly as he taught her, but if she'd never done it before, how had he taught her? Ugh... too much lame sex in this one, sorry SL, but yea, this one didn't do it for me.
Ok, so I was looking into the next book, and it takes place in 1835, 10 years after this one we just read. But then the book after that, number 11, goes back to 1825, and takes place right after Amelia's wedding. Then #12 and #13 take place in 1831, #14 in 1833, and then #15 skips back to 1825! Then #16 is in 1829 I think, and dunno about #17 or #18. WTH, I don't think I like that. Keeping the series going in chronological order as it has been so far makes better sense to me! I mean, so we're gonna read Simon's book next, and then for the books after that, any appearances he may make will have him being younger and unmarried again! That's confusing to me. Maybe I'm just weird freaking out about this, lol.
Maybe. I'm kinda more interested in Honoria's brother anyway, he's Devil's age and due for a wife whereas Simon in my mind is still the teenager he was in this book and all the books we've read so far.
I was sure that Honoria's brother is next after the talk Amelia had with on the wedding day ,are the publication date on these book in order? I mean did she wrote Simon's book first and the came back to Michael book later? let me check
I'll go with whatever you decide because I'm not sure if I'm going to read if or night, I might just lurk the first day and if I see you're liking it I'll read it too. I don't know yet
