Arti (a3books4) | 1353 comments Yeah, but Jace's case was different from hers. I bet the Silent Brothers will come up with someting. And Magnus and Alec must get back together

Kaylah Eiramenna Carrell (wearebutdustandshadow) | 195 comments I'm sure they will..they can't resist the temptation:p I love them together! they're the perfect gay couple..and plus without Magnus, Alec dresses like a fool!

message 53: by Arti (new)

Arti (a3books4) | 1353 comments I know! They are like THE BEST couple in all the series. They're like perfect together

Well... Valentine was grooming Jace to be the best 'soldier' of his and already disappointed with Sebastian's evilness. Valentine care less about fatherly thingy when he 'tossed' Jace away at 10.

Valentine trusted Jace not because he cared about Jace, but because that will always be Jace's nature, kind and reliable, no matter how cruel Valentine was raising him.

Valentine didn't love Jace. When Jace died, Clary thought he was crying over his dead 'son' body, but there was no tear. Valentine tricked Jace about his actual relationship with Clary. Valentine didn't care if he broke every piece of Jace' soul. He cared only about accomplishing his goal. What a fake father!

Kaylah Eiramenna Carrell (wearebutdustandshadow) | 195 comments to Nurlely: I get what you're saying about Sebastian and Valentine, but out of the MI villains I prefer Sebastian...he's my favorite, he was witty and deceitful, but his scale of nastyness isn't nearly on the same level as Valentine's or Lilith's..I prefer him...which villain do you prefer? I'm actually kind of confused now as to which one is your favorite..

Kaylah Eiramenna Carrell (wearebutdustandshadow) | 195 comments to Arti: I think Magnus was just being a total drama queen when he broke it off, I mean it isn't like he was completely truthful with Alec either..Ugh Warlocks! lol

I actually responded more to your "why", not of your choice.

I responded to the topic before.
I think the best villain in TMI should be Lilith. Too bad she died too soon.Valentine would be okay, but he was older and loonier by the end of the day. Sebastian can be my best, if he is wit enough. But I find him to be all about evil. I would like to have the bad one with sense of humour, like Damon Salvatore of Vampire Diary.

Kaylah Eiramenna Carrell (wearebutdustandshadow) | 195 comments oh okay, so you just didn't completely agree with why he is my favorite..alright I can take that:p I like him for his evil qualities, it's just that I try to find the good in everyone, it's a problem really, as you can see by my nearly reckless attempts to defend my opinion..sorry if I came off like a jerk...but while reading TMI I have found little things here and there that he's done that are more normal than evil, I know he's more than likely not going to turn good, I'm just saying he's got about a 1% on his good-o-meter(:

Agreeing and disagreeing about a character is common in a discussion, whether it is a lovable character or a loathsome one. People have right to choose what character they want to side with or go against. We read because we love it, so we choose our favourite ones because we want it, not for anyone else' sake... ;)

There are many readers who like Sebastian, including my dear Arriane. I think she will keep protecting Sebastian while I am trying my best to feed him death... LOL

message 60: by Kaylah Eiramenna (new)

Kaylah Eiramenna Carrell (wearebutdustandshadow) | 195 comments watch, and then Cassie Clare, just for the hell of it turns the story around, destroys all the good characters, and then turns Sebastian into some sort of law obiding citizen, the end!:p

Oh man all the types of craziness that would ensue...that would be a truly evil thing to do..

message 61: by Arti (new)

Arti (a3books4) | 1353 comments He was a fake father but I still think Sebastian is a more evil villian

message 62: by Nurlely (new)

Nurlely (lelysiregar) | 15 comments Nothing can beat Sebastian's evilness, except his evil mother Lilith, if Cassie decides to resurrect her.... LOL

message 63: by Arti (new)

Arti (a3books4) | 1353 comments Lilith automatically evil. She uses people to do stuff for her and then takes credit. So unoriginal

message 64: by Nurlely (last edited Feb 19, 2013 08:36PM) (new)

Nurlely (lelysiregar) | 15 comments More people to slave means more power. And Lilith obviously refuses to do 'tiny weenie' things if she has Sebastian (and many demons)to do her bidding.

That is what Sebastian is doing, to get as many bad nephilim slaves as possible.

Evil gives birth to evil. Lilith brought evilish Sebastian back to alive and became an evil Sebastian.

I don't believe evil gives birth to evil. Jocelyn was good and gave birth to Sebastian. It has never been his fault it was Valentine's and now they have to kill him even thiugh it wasn't his fault.

Surely when a mother of all demon 'gives birth' to anything, it will be as hers. I wonder why you consider otherwise. Lilith is not a human being.

I wonder if somehow you missed the part about Valentine altered Jocelyn's baby's nature with demon's blood, changing the original shadowhunter Sebastian was supposed to be into some demonic shadowhunter. Even Jocelyn was terrifying with the fact.

If you consider Sebastian as not guilty and is free of charge since it was not his fault in killing those shadowhunters, into changing them into some evil slaves, into torturing an angel and ripped his feather from his wing, into desiring Clary as a woman, into making Jace as his soul-slave, into his amazingly cruel actions..... then be my guest.

Sydney | 1 comments Idk. All three were such great villains!!! I don't think I can pick a favorite

message 71: by Arti (new)

Arti (a3books4) | 1353 comments TRUE TRUE

message 72: by Josiane (new)

Josiane Claremont Sebastian! He's hot (but not as much as Jace or Will)!!! Also, he's smart, lonely, misunderstood, and attractively evil.

message 73: by Arti (new)

Arti (a3books4) | 1353 comments Agreed

message 74: by Ashton (new)

Ashton | 2 comments Sebastian was my favorite villian because he was such a bad ass! Well also because his character was so deep. I really love the way Clare wrote him into plot. Great villian!

message 75: by Arti (new)

Arti (a3books4) | 1353 comments Yeah but he keeps on not dying and its getting annoying!

Arti (a3books4) | 1353 comments lol nice

message 78: by Ryan (new)

Ryan (bookwormryan) | 3 comments Its seriously a shock though that Valentine, the main or most well-known villain in the series dies in 'City of Glass.' Like really? I thought he would last long. Anyways, for that reason my favorite would be Sebastian, cuz he cool like that.
