Personality: Marc is tough and brave, a SEAL through and through. He is driven, ambitious and extremely motivated. He has all of the traits of a SEAL: Loyalty, spirit, self-confidence, determination, and self-control. He has a heart for his friends, passion that drives him, strength and endurance. He has incredible mental discipline, intelligence, and street smarts. He has a deeply ingrained sense of responsibility for his fellow man, his colleagues and friends, his work, and his country. He has the ability to make split second decisions, and can focus and stay calm even in the most dangerous and distracting of situations. History: Marc comes from a military family. His dad was a Air Force Pararescue Jumper(PJ), and his mom flew an F/A-18 Hornet as a naval aviator. Both of his grandfathers were SEAL's as well. He grew up with the other military families in Coronado, CA where he was born, and he knew that he wanted to be a SEAL pretty much as soon as he was old enough to think about it. He made it through Hell Week and was at the top of his class in BUD/S and SQT.

History: Jay was a student in a University working in the science department with a professor famous for his work on DNA mutations. The head of the department took an interest in Jay and his work in the area and showed him some of the scientists' work on the Island. Jay, horrified, insisted that the work done on the island was wrong and threatened to report the project to the authorities and marched out on the project. He was accosted on his way back to his apartment that night and knocked out. The next thing he knew, he found himself on the island.

Personality:Ari has a quiet sort of danger about her. She doesn't talk much, but she is always aware and always listening. She doesn't trust easily - she never has. She is not one to judge, only to analyze. She makes her own decisions without the influence of others.

History: Ari never had a good relationship with her parents, not for any particular reason other than they never really felt compatible with her. She was born and raised in Portland, Oregon. She has a younger brother named Benjamin who is possibly the only person she really cares about, and he is the one she wants to survive to take care of.

Mystik has a very, as her name describes, mystical appearance. Her hair is a natural, bright orange-red and has soft curls that look wins blown all the time. Her hair is almost never brushed. Her hair mostly covers one of her eyes. The one that shows is a beautiful, shining blue. But the one that is hidden is a pale gray color with no pupil. Just gray.
Mystik normally wears ripped shorts and dark colored tank tops. Her feet are always bare and very dirty and gross. Her skin is bruised an torn up and she has wounds and scars everywhere, all the time. You can tell she used to be very beautiful, but the island has certainly gotten to her.

Distinct or unusual marks: Her one gray eye. It is blind, though nobody knows that because she won't tell them. She also has a long scar just under her collarbone.

Personality: Mystik is hot-headed, short tempered, and reckless. She enjoys fighting and never thinks before she acts or speaks. Because of this, she often says things offensive. She means well and will fight like a demon if someone she cares for is threatened. She is very closed off and defensive, but if you manage to get past her temper, she is very kind and caring. It is hard for her to trust people, but she is very trust-worthy and loyal and often grows too attached to things.

History: When Mystik was younger, her mother left her and her father to a poor lifestyle. Her father became depressed and hardly talked to her. He said she reminds him too much of her mother. Then one day, her father went crazy and tried to kill her. She got that scar on her chest from a knife he held. He was stopped by authorities before he could finish her off.
Mystik then went to live with her aunt and uncle, who would beat her constantly. They hated kids. So at age 14, a day before her birthday, Mystik ran away. She stole their boat and went as far out into the ocean as she could. The boat was caught in a storm and woke up the next morning, just turned 15, on Terror Island.
Mystik has lived on the island for 4 years. She's had plenty of chances to escape, but she doesn't want to. She likes the island, at least more than her home. She joined the rebels at age 16 and a half.
When she was 17, Mystik was caught by the testers and tested on. But she escaped before the testing could be completed. She was almost combined with tiger DNA and almost became a moof, but she didn't. But now, she has permanent tiger fangs and sharp, long nails like claws because of the experiment. She will also sometimes sink into fazes of when the testers control her. She is extremely dangerous at these times, no matter how much she tries to fight their control.
Something during the experiment went terribly wrong for Mystik. Her right eye lost sight and turned gray. This is the story of why her eye is gray.

She is a person who thinks about something before doing it so she haven't been in a big trouble yet. She is sympatheticly and often she is too sympethetic so she is very glumly when something bad happens.

History: Hazel grew up in a house which is in the countryside. There she had to help all the time in the fields and she also had to take care of her 4 younger siblings. Her parents like the traditional way of life like the life the grandparents had had. So Hazel isn't mindful of clothes and beauty. She likes the youngest of her sibling most and misses her dreadfully. One day Hazel had wanted to draw water from a stream a few kilometres away from her home and somehow, she doesn't know how, landed on the Terror Island.
She lives on this Island for a week now and tries to make the best out of it. She often climbed on trees but she can't see whether there is any escape chance. So she stay on the place she is because she knows that there is nothing dangerous.

Distinct or Unusual Marks: So, about Julian's eyes. He has this thing called heterochromia which is what causes his eyes to be like the aforementioned atrocious drawing (I mean, his eyes don't look atrocious; they're two different colors). He also has some acne, but not horribly bad, and the couple of freckles that you can see in his picture.

Personality: Julian is charismatic, outgoing, and optimistic, and trusting. At times he seems to be determined to make friends with the entire world. He sees the good in every situation and human being. Is this way he is like a child - naïve and happy and often oblivious to the harsh reality. He is also quite religious, as his entire family is Catholic.

History: Julian was born and raised into a Catholic family in Sacramento, California. His parents were caring but had high expectations for him. He was very popular and well-liked at his school. He seemed to do a little bit of everything - science bowl, basketball, speech and debate... To top it off, he was student body co-president with his best friend Fauster.

Personality: Char is a very enthusiastic and always happy. She's very trusting, but that'll probably be a big problem on this island. She's energetic, friendly, sarcastic, and optimistic. She loves to have fun, but can also be very mature and composed. She is also very jumpy. She get's scared at the slightest noises, taps, or movements when she isn't expecting it. Her first instinct in the face of danger is RUN. Its not that she can never be brave, because she can, its just the way she is. Even if she doesn't want to, even if she doesn't mean to, she usually will run. She's easily distracted and usually can't keep one mindset for long. However if she knows something's very important she will try her hardest to not get distracted or run away.
History: When she was very young and playing with some friends she ran into the road to get a ball. A car came out of nowhere and she couldn't move for a second before bolting, just a little too late. It's amazing she survived with only the scar on her leg (more on that in weaknesses). Since she was so young when this happened she became emotionally scarred and had to go to therapy and such. this accident is why shes so jumpy. She lived in a small town in Connecticut and rarely ever left. It was a 'walk everywhere know everybody' kind of town. It's probably the reason why she's so trusting.

Other: When she's walking normally she has the smallest of limps and sometimes gets little jabs of pain when she's going faster but not using her cheetah speed or steps on something too bumpy. She's learned to mostly be able to ignore it though.

She has never been traditionally pretty. Always managing to fit in and yet make a bold statement, Firran has always strived to be something more than average. Ever since her abusive father through a burning log at her face, blinding her in her left eye, she has been terrified of fire. About 5'7 and slender, she has pale skin, unruly red hair and spattering of freckles covering her body. One of her eyes is a piercing blue, the other a milky grey due to her blindness.

Distinct or Unusual Marks: Freckles. Lots of freckles. A small scar on her left temple from the attack when she was young (see Appearance and/or History).

Personality: Firran has always been determined, but extremely suspicious and wary due to her experiences as a child, and this tends to make her sarcastic and negative. She is determined to prove her worth- not only mentally, but emotionally and physically too. She isn't exactly truthful, and prefers to keep the specifics of her life vague to those around her. But although those qualities make it difficult to know her, once you break through you find she is an earnest, kind person who just wants to be given a chance. One of the ways she vents her emotions, both negative and positive, is through painting- faces, landscapes, abstracts. Ever since she was a child, she had refused to use verbal or physical violence to solve problems- as she had experienced first hand that they never, ever solved anything.

History: Abused and permanently blinded by her drunkard father, she was placed in government care at the age of 13 when her house burnt down after her father threw a burning log at her face. Her father was killed in the blaze, leaving her an orphan. She had no idea where her mother was, who had disappeared when Firran was 3. She spent the first 3 months of her life as an orphan on the streets. During that time, mysterious artworks appeared on alley walls and on sidewalks- burning houses, screaming faces, and always in the background, an unbroken, smiling family of three. Although these were in fact by her, she never claimed responsibility. Everyone thought she had died in the fire, and it was only when she turned up at her primary school that she was discovered and "rescued".

Personality: Dev is a kind guy, but often keeps to himself unless confronted by other people. Depending on what you have to say, he could react one of two ways: If you're kind and intelligent, or take an interest in something he's doing, he'll interact with you positively, but pick a fight or get on his nerves, and be prepared to get a few bruises, if not knocked unconscious. He gets irritated easily when people push the right buttons, but he prefers being a neutral party, or just keeping away from drama entirely unless it's directly related to him.
History: His little sister, Phoebe, was an intelligent little girl. She was always so bright and happy. With her curly hair always in ponytails, she was just a bouncy ball of joy, and it was a pleasure to be around her. She wanted to be a doctor when she grew up, and she always had a bright light of hope in her eyes whenever she told anyone. She'd go on and on about how she wanted to help people. She even pretended that her stuffed animals were patients. People told him he couldn't have done anything; that he shouldn't blame himself.
But guilt still wells in his chest from that day. The day fate stole her from his life.

She didn't see the car come towards her.
The driver didn't see her because he was distracted by the sun in his eyes and had looked away to find his sunglasses.

She has bright blue eye's and can look quite innocent. But don't be fooled by her beauty, she is unpredictable. She wears clothes that best match her surroundings, so normally plain things, like brown and green. Her skin is slightly paler then normal, because she spent many years in boarding schools, where you stay inside all the time.

Distinct or Unusual Marks:Has an odd birthmark on her right shoulder. It isn't in any particular shape, but she likes to keep it hidden.

Personality:
She is incredible stealthy and fast. She likes to hide in trees or in tall grass to spy on others, her hair helps her hide in grass more than you think. Alina is normally the kind of kid to be in the back of a group, silent and listens to everything. Everyone thinks she is mute, but she doesn't talk much due to her history. She doesn't usually have a temper, unless you insult her. Then you might want to stay clear. She likes to use a bow and arrow as a weapon.

History: Her history isn't the prettiest thing. She never new her parents, so she always lived with her great aunt. Her aunt lived in the middle of nowhere, in some country side. Her aunt was strict and wanted her to have the best education. her aunt didn't like Alina to talk, and locked her away whenever she "spoke out of term."

Personality: Revel is hard to pinpoint because she has many personalities that she seems to rotate through. Sometimes she's sweet and shy, sometimes she's fierce and protective, and still other times she's moody and disagreeable. The reason for this is that Revel has always been an actor. She's very used to playing many roles, and it has bled into her daily life. Not even Revel is totally sure who she really is, and she's constantly on the lookout to recapture her identity. The one thing that remains constant is that she is always loyal and will always guard secrets with her life.

History: Revel was a very successful child/teen actor in her home city of New York. She seemed to have her career totally made, and besides that she was academically gifted. She was one of those people who had no free time whatsoever, and so she didn't have a lot of friends who were her age. Her parents were very proud of her no matter what she did, and they made it very clear to her that even if she was a horrible actor they would take pride in her being their daughter. Revel was always the one who put so much pressure on herself.

She has her own way of doing things and will stick to her opinion with all the tenacity of a bulldog. She is outwardly very emotionless, but if you can get under her guard and into her heart, she is warm and friendly. Once you become her friend, you are her friend for life. She is very good at the business/paperwork side of things, and is a total bookworm. If she isn't busy working, then she is busy reading. Some call her a geek, because she knows everything from reading so much. She is intelligent, knowledgeable, and completely loyal. Appearance: Black, kinda messy hair that reaches to his shoulders, (But still looks cool and non-girly,) and stops just above his eyes, his fringe (possible side-fringe, not sure) is white. He has dark brown eyes-almost black and is 5'8ft tall (he has more of a 'tall and lean' build.). He is wearing a black t-shirt, dark jeans, dark jacket, combat boots, a studded belt and a shark-tooth charm/necklace thing.

Distinct or Unusual Marks: An interesting scar on his back. A triskelion tattoo on his left foot (he was feeling rebellious at the time).

Personality: Chet has many hidden layers to his personality; he wears many 'masks'. He rarely acts serious and even manages to retain his humor/sarcasm in dangerous situations. He is a natural troublemaker and can be very unpredictable. He often comes across as being kinda idiotic but he is actually very smart/intelligent. He can act serious when need be and is actually very understanding. He has hidden depths. He has a big heart and will do anything to protect someone or something he cares about. He does what he believes is right. However these depths don't often show, you will usually see him acting kinda silly. At heart, he is a very loyal person.

History: Chet has a younger twin sister called Aruen. His mother, Maria-Amuret, was Italian and his father, Darren, was English. His mother died in a car crash when he was eight, while his sister and himself got out reasonably okay. His father became bitter after their mothers death and began to neglect Chet and Aruen, and eventually started to become abusive. After a year of abuse, they'd had enough, so they ran away. That was four years ago. Two years ago Chet and Aruen somehow got separated, and despite his best efforts, Chet has not seen nor heard from Aruen since. He is still searching for her, but starting to lose hope of finding her.

Personality: Scarlet is a laid back, down to earth girl with a few quirks. She is hyper as all get out and can't sit still for long, unless it involves playing her acoustic guitar, which she can play for hours with no problem. She doesn't mind getting her hands dirty, and has gone hunting before with some of her 'redneck friends' as her mother called them.
History: Scarlet ran away from her parents home at a young age, shortly after she kicked Jonah out actually. It was only Jonah who kept her able to deal with her mother, who thought she could mold Scarlet into a prim and proper 'princess' so to speak, with dresses and fancy little dinners and whatnot. Well, after Jonah left, her mother tried to step it up and make her stop seeing her 'redneck friends' since they always brung her back muddy, and make her wear dresses and make up and fancy looking jewelry, and Scarlet threw a huge fit, threw the dresses and things out the window, packed her things, called a friend and left the house in his pick up truck, her few belongings that she liked in a duffel bag in the back, her guitar resting in her lap. She met up with Jonah after living with her friends and learning things like hunting and bowmaking, in return she sang them songs and played her guitar, which they loved. She lived with Jonah for a while, and he got an all expense paid vacation to some beach somewhere, so she tagged along, now she's at the island with him.

Luckily, she's such an easygoing person that that isnt neccessary, and really all he has to do to keep her happy is keep her fed and safe. Her friends take care of the rest really. He is patient, forgiving and unendingly loyal to those he loves.

Thin lips that never smile. Jacobi is short, about 5'6", but he makes up for his height by having mastered the evil genius glare. He's very skinny, almost unhealthily skinny, and extremely scrawny.

Personality: Jacobi is the kind of person who takes his job very, very seriously. He doesn't feel a lot of emotion (you kind of get that way after performing countless experiments on people and failing a lot of the time). not that Jacobi cares about the failures. He doesn't see what he does as killing, either. He does it all in the name of science. Jacobi's not technically insane, not yet anyway, but his mental health is questionable and he could teeter over the edge any day now. It doesn't help that he's surrounded by his evil colleagues, most of whom who are completely, undoubtedly mad. Even though he's very young, Jacobi is absolutely brilliant. In fact, he's one of the Testers' intellectual leaders. He has all of their respect, although they wouldn't hesitate to depose him and use his brain for their next experiment if they thought he was ever showing weakness or, God forbid, pity.

History: At the age of 16, Jacobi was chosen by the Testers to be one of the candidates for being kidnapped and brought to Terror Island as a normal stranded human. But upon closer inspection of his background (snatching a person from their life is more complicated than you'd expect), the Testers found that he was, simply put, a genius. They instead decided to kidnap him, wipe his memories, and install him as one of their own evil masterminds. So, Jacobi knows nothing of his past, nor does he really want to. After all, he's in a good position here on Terror Island.

Personality: Amalek is a young man of few words, and his rather calm and easy-going demeanor makes him easy to get along with. He has a practical sort of wisdom that he applies to whatever he does. He is hard to agitate since he is so easy-going and as such can be called upon to settle disputes with others around him and is seen as a mediator in lots of ways. Due to the life he has lived in the wild, he has a very powerful build and often displays a surprising amount of stamina by running for long periods of time without tiring.
History: Amalek has led a fairly adventurous life. He's gotten into a lot of trouble roughhousing, and fighting and has the scars to prove it. He's stood up to anyone despite their larger size or muscles and has always strived to get stronger to defeat his opponents and as such has exercised a lot. He was kicked from his home when he was 16 and lived in the woods ever since, sneaking aboard the cruise ship that led him to the inevitable crash in an attempt to find something better.
