update covers

Hi goodreads Librarians,

I have a new book cover out and would like to use this for my goodreads page. My book is GIRL UNMOORED. The Amazon kindle page reflects the new cover, although the paperback page is still showing the old cover. The same with the rest of my accounts (Barnes $ Nobles ect), but these changes should be coming soon through National Book Newtork.

How can I change the cover on my goodreads page myself?

Jennifer, we don't change the covers on existing book records. However, if you provide a (non-bookseller) link to the new cover, we can create an alternate cover edition record.

Additionally, we don't yet have a Kindle edition of your book listed at all, although you mention that there is one available. If you can provide the information we need for that, we can add that edition as well.

Do you have an image on your website?

You can also upload the image to the "Additional Photos" section of your author profile and some one can pick it up from there. Amazon links are no good

I have updated the book cover for MAYAN BLOOD. Please set it up so I can make it the cover (I know I have to go do that myself) in the preferences for the newest edition.

@Justin, looks like someone already made an alternate cover edition. Now that there is an alternate cover edition, the author can choose which edition/cover is featured (on their author page, searches, etc., what goodreads calls the "primary edition" or "default edition.")

Thanks Debbie. However, I am trying to use a different cover (different than the current alternate). I don't see the most recent one associated with the book so I can select it as the default alternative cover.

Added the new cover as alternate edition for Kindle and added an ebook version

How do I get the cover on the kindle book you just created for me?
And I have no placed the new cover in additional photos, but I still do not understand how to get the photo on my goodreads page?

I can do for you; or if you are wanting to learn how, select the kindle edition missing cover, click "edit details" (between book description and reviews near the green get a copy buttons), upper right of next screen you will click "choose file" and do so then click "upload"

Let us know if you just want it done for you or if you tried and it did not work.

Once anyone has put the cover on the book, can be deleted from your photos or left—your choice, won't affect bookcover.
