Congratulations! I joined Goodreads in November and didn't have a clue what to do with it so...I didn't do anything!! Recently gave it another look and explored what it had to offer and I'm glad I did! I've been telling friends and family about it and hope they'll jump on board with me soon. I'm a Kindle fan so that's where I do the majority of my reading. I have two accounts, one that's my own and one that is shared with two of my five grandchildren (other three aren't reading on their own yet!). I could use them as my excuse for being a fan of Rick Riordan but...that wouldn't be true...LOL...he had a free book and that was the hook!!

Forgot to say that I have a kindle but I still love and buy 'real' books, far too many of both but then you can,never, ever have enough books. Currently reading The 100 Year Old Man who Jumped out of the Window, really, really enjoying it.

i start reading books out of the local library but i stop going there and start buying books but i wanted to buy and read good books so i start surfing the web thats when i found goodreads but this is my first time in a group.

I have been stumbling my way around Goodreads the last week or so and I am loving it! I buy books, use the library, listen to audio books while I'm driving, quilting. This site feels like that wonderful feeling you get when you start a book and you just know that it is going to be a good one!

I've just finished reading :The Hundred-Year-Old Man Who Climbed Out of the Window and Disappeared|13486632]. It is an awesome read.

I think the strength behind the attraction to this group are the good books! Some groups, I have to make an effort weeding through what I might like. With this group, I want to read them all!
