Request: Correction of ebook page count

I thought Rivka said ebook numbers were suposed to equal printed number of pages because all the erader devices and apps pull different page numbers ( sometimes even changing according to user settings)?

Unless the ebook is shorter or longer word count/length than the printed versio—which should be noted somewhere.

Is the word count of the story in the ebook a different length? Maybe some excerpts from other books or previews were accidentally included when counting page numbers if the word count remains the same.

nevermind. Author posted below and real pages were counted independent of ebook device.

Debbie, I use PDF's in ebooks and I frequently have odd page numbers.

I want to be very clear: this is NOT correct. When available, we use official page counts from the publisher for ebooks. In some cases, those may be the same as those of a print edition, but certainly not in every case.
