Just saw the movie!! No spoilers, but it was absolutely brilliant and very faithful to the book!! :)
They didn't show the divergent trailer though :(
I mean awesome about how to the movie is, not about the divergent trailer
AHHHHAh All my friends are seeing it today or tomorrow and I have to stay home all weekend writing a term paper. I heard it's awesome though! AAAARGH WHY?!?!?! I guess that
All of the above!! The movie was absolutely amazing, but there was one thing they didn't need to add that wasn't in the book, it was a small thing, but it contributes to the whole weirdness of Snow.NOT EXACTLY A BIG SPOILER BUT A THING ABOUT THE CATCHING FIRE BOOK/MOVIE LIES AHEAD!!!!
In the book, when snow pays Katniss a visit, when he leaves he says 'I know about the kiss', (with gale) which leaves us readers (and katniss) wondering how he knows. In the film, he has a holographic screen thing that is playing the video of the kiss. It isn't a big thing, but it kind of takes away some of the creepiness of 'how does snow know what she is doing?'

Yeah, but aside from that minor thing, the film was brilliant and very faithful. All the new characters were beautifully portrayed (especially Finnick and Johanna Mason!!) Such a good film and I would happily go and see it again anytime!! :)
Sam Claflin was PERFECT as Finnick, he had the slightly arrogant side down, and said the line 'want a sugar cube?' pretty perfectly too!! I really felt bad for him when he was talking to Caesar Flickerman (Stanley Tucci was AWESOME as Caesar again!!) and I was sitting there like:[image error]
yeah. that happened a lot. and I knew what was going to happen!! still brilliant though!

Sam Claflin is gorgeous and played Finnick perfectly. Also Jena Malone did an amazing job as Johanna.
YAY!!!! I hope it becomes the biggest hit of this year :D

When you stare at the screen and blink furiously when the divergent trailer DOESN'T COME ON when you see catching fire but your friends don't care because they haven't read it. ONE OF THESE DAYS THEY WILL READ IT AND THANK ME!!! One of these days... o_O

When it first didnt come on, I was nuts. I was silently screaming obscenities at the screen and my friends were trying to calm me down. When it finally did come on, I did a little happy dance in my seat :)
Me: I just watched the new trailer. Oh my Gosh the scenes are pretty much like the book!!! Even the boxing scene is there!!!!!!! And Zip Lining!!!

I used to be kind of disgusted by tattoos, but Divergent made me realize the beauty and symbolism that comes from getting one.

I don't think so although I might have heard of the what are the series called?
There's the raven cycle (4 books, only 2 out), the books of faeries (trilogy), the shiver series (4 books) and the scorpio races which is a stand-alone book and she also writes anthologies and short stories on her merry sisters of fate website
I have heard of the raven cycle the shiver series from you and the Scorpio races I have not read any of them though but shiver is on my list.
