A book with a publication contract may be added to Goodreads.

Does this mean I'm allowed to have it on goodreads, even during the serialization so to speak?"Well, what you can add is a placeholder for that book you'll eventually publish so that your fans who intend to read that eventual book can add it to their to-read lists. It should have a publication date in the future based on when you expect that to be (this can be a rough estimate, of course -- publishing deadlines do change!) so that it will show as an expected future publication rather than as a currently published work, and the information given on that record should be about the final, complete book and not about the ongoing serial (except as incidental background information). In other words, it needs to be a book record for the upcoming complete book and not just a pointer to the serial! But if you've confirmed the future publication of a book, absolutely, put the information about the upcoming publication into a record. ("Confirmed future publication" traditionally means to have a contract with a publisher; for mostly self-published authors, of course, this has to be a looser concept.)
