Lexy Claire | 19 comments Author writes all thrillers. Male author. This one is about a teenage boy. If I remember right, he does a seance with his two best friends (a boy and a girl) and believes he is possessed by a serial killer. People start dying including one of his friends and he thinks that he is doing it while possessed. He sees a therapist/hypnotist to try to regain the memories. I know the ending too but don't want to give that way for people. :)

Thanks in advance!

KD | 19 comments Could this possibly be I Am Not a Serial Killer by Dan Wells?

Male author who writes mainly thrillers = yes
Teenage boy = yes
Serial killer in community = yes
Therapist = yes
Somewhat supernatural element = yes

From the reviews, I don't think the MC suspects that he himself may be responsible for the murders, but I thought I'd at least mention this book.

Edit: Forgot to mention it's part of a series (John Cleaver), so you may also want to check out the rest.

I Am Not A Serial Killer by Dan Wells?

Lexy, around what year did you read this book?

What's the location - U.S./country/region, big city/small town, etc.?

Lexy Claire | 19 comments I read it 2013/2014. It wasn't the author's newest book but was one of his newer works. It wasn't part of a series. I don't actually think the author had written a continuous series. Each book had different characters. One note on the author is that he tends to finish the mystery up in the last few pages. I noticed I accidentally spoiled one of his books for myself just by trying to determine how many pages the book was.

Lexy Claire | 19 comments In this case, I believe that at least one of the kills was a house fire, the boy's friend. And a spoiler for someone who thinks they know the book (hopefully most of this is accurate. Been awhile since I read the book. - (view spoiler)

Lexy Claire | 19 comments Unspeakable by Kevin o' brien. I highly recommend him for thrillers. We preorder his books and then my sisters, my mother and I all fight over who gets it first. Haha.
