I think that the end game is Evie and Jericho as a couple. Sam may get in between them for book 2 because Evie will feel bad about "taking" her best friends man. You will see them split in book 2 and reunite in book 3 where Mabel and Sam will move on to respective love interests, possibly each other? I honestly don't know what to think about for the Man in the Stovepipe Hat! Maybe he could be "Uncs" villainous counterpart? Some one from his past who he studied with or under and then they went down different paths to become rivals and enemies. I definitely think that book 2 will expose more of Will's past!
Project Buffalo will tie Jericho and Sam together! I think it was WW1 experimentation that has been covered up. Experimentation to use magic to create a super soldier. And maybe they will bring Evies brother in to it as well by saying he discovered it and hence was killed?
Ugh the rambles... so many theories! Here is one to add, is Evie's brother really dead?
Honestly I see the opposite. I don't think Jericho's going to last. I love him, but Evie specifically states she wants to forget. I think Sam is going to be in the picture a lot more. Maybe Jericho will go evil because of it. Hmmm....I also think James's spirit is tied to Naughty John, so he may be evil. A lot of evil brothers in this series.
Perhaps. I read it that she was suppressing her attraction to him. When he was digging for the grave etc she admired him the whole time and then felt guilty. Who knows! I do like Sam too, I think he is a lot of fun but I think he is too much like her. Who knows though! Perhaps she will bring out the good in him?I never considered James being evil before... that's interesting.
Gahhhh! love triangles! I hate when I am in love with both the characters, but I think it will be Jericho and Evie because they balance each other out. Even though i personally wouldn't I am incorrect cause I love Sam too! I repeat. GAHHHHH LOVE TRIANGLES

At the end of the book, we were left with Sam leaving to figure out what Project Buffalo was, and we were basically left a hint. Then, the Man in the Stovepipe Hat aka 'Mr. Fun Times' (as Libba calls him) was featured in one of the last chapters of the book! *dun, dun, dun …* Oh, and did I mention Evie and Jericho at the end? So, thoughts? Bets? Theories on what Project Buffalo is? Who's the mysterious Man in the Stovepipe Hat?
