Hello I work for Marvin Kaye and I was doing something in his account and see that someone has changed both the cover and the text that goes with HIS Dracula book which he annotated and is an anniversery edition. Cover should have a picture by Edward Gory on the cover. Is there any way that can be restored? If I have to do it I will be charging my client and I don't think that is fair to him. I did not see any librarian comments so I can't tell when it was done. Please help. Thank you Andrea Simmons

Can you post a link to the specific edition you refer to and to the cover that should be there (non-bookseller please)? The only one I can see which includes Marvin Kaye has no obvious cover changes.
I found on Goodreads but the text is different now too...

Also before it was changed I had text in there indicating it was annotated and a special anniversary edition.

Ah, You're right. I just took a real quick look.
If you look at WorldCat, there are 3 ISBNs listed on the same page as #9780760702987.9780760702987: http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/22...

The last edit on any of these editions looks to be January 25, 2012. It doesn't look like an issue with default descriptions either, so I'm not sure what the problem is.
I've looked through all the edits by Andrea and Marvin (which I presume are Andrea as well) and there is nothing resembling an edit of a Dracula title so I would have thought that the book had been deleted or merged but there is an edition on Marvins page with the correct authors, page numbers, publishers, ISBN, dates, which has existed for years.It would have to be a book with 900+ editions!
It has gone midnight here, and I refuse to dream about vampires so I'm off. See you (later) in the morning.
I can see the correct book cover when I look at bookss under author profile but when I do a search for Marvin Kaye I get the 9780393970123 coming up as his...I wonder if it is just a search problem.
I'm sorry the I typoed IBSN number 9780393970128 is the one that conmes up if you search Marvin Kaye...
I'll check things in the morning...not midnight but I'm bushed...

Andrea, that edition shows up when you search for Marvin because that is the default edition of Dracula. The edition of Dracula that is on his author profile is this one:

which has his name and Gorey but nothing of the descriptions you say you added.

Banjomike: Thanks I see what you mean. If that edition [Gorey cover] shows no changes in the book description then maybe I dreamt it....thanks for looking and clearing things up for me.
