Yeah the third book was really long! It was like the length of the first two put together (Or it seemed like it anyways, because I read all of the books in one...book. Did that make sense?) Anyways, yeah. I really liked the ending too. I don't know which one I liked more, the first or the third because in the first Todd was just hilarious. And he was all innocent and ignorant and that added to the story and made it even funnier.

Lol true! I loved that about the first one too! Plus Aaron was a crazy villain. And Manchee was amazing as well!
Aaron WAS crazy. The whole time I was wondering if he were immortal or something. He would like never die!
And I felt so bad with what happened with Manchee. I so thought he was coming back, so I wasnt really stressing over it. Then when the series ended, it finally hit me and I was just like "Why?!?!?!!!!"

I put in my request for this at the library this morning. It's been on my TBR forever now but after reading SO MANY amazing comments about it I've decided to bump it up a bit :)
Chaos walking is one of the few handful of dystopian series which has got solid world building, proper backstory and admirable characters. I love the series, wish it had a large fandom!Patrick Ness = genius!
*sigh* I'm on book three....I don't think my reading experience will ever be the same after this. AMAZING series so far.when I started reading it and poo kept popping up everywhere, I was like, who writes like this, who publishes this? lol but its written so real you can't not keep going.
so manchee isn't coming back? I kept hoping he would...an amazing dog character! it makes me sad he's not coming back. the horse is nice but she's no manchee! amazing characters! I love how the author makes you hate a character, only to change them and make you fall in love with them, oh and then kill them of course so your like nooooooooooo lol
I can't wait to find out what happens at the end but I'm nursing it, I'm not ready to say goodbye!
i just finished this book and the spelling and grammar really annoyed me at first but i didn't even notice they were there after a few chapters lol Amazing book!!!
Me too!!!! Heidi, ever since you got me on to this series, I've PUSHED it to everyone who will listen!
I love this series! It is without a doubt my favorite series of all time!I need to read it all over again very soon, and post some reviews; because these books can't be gushed about enough as far as I'm concerned!! Glad to know I'm not alone in my fandom! :D
you can't even get that world out of your head! I watch something on TV after I read a little bit and I feel like the female roles should hear the male roles.

I did the same thing!
And don't even get me started on Manchee! How adorable is he?! I kept looking at my dog and wishing I could hear his thoughts for weeks!
hahahaha I did too...I kept wondering what my dog was thinking and wishing I could hear him. manchee was an amazing pet character! I'm on the third book the part where Ivan gets shot. I'm sorry to say I was fooled by the mayor....FOOLED! but I stopped reading there, cause I am not ready for it to end hahahaha I've been milking this last book for a week! and I can't believe how much I missed Todd's noise till Ben came back....and then yay for a brief moment it was like the first book.
