here's my review

I don't know how to really review this cos I usually say things like the characters and storyline were credible but this is real people, real situations...
It's a beautiful story - heart-wrenching and very well written. Perfect balance between the main love story and the anecdotal asides with a great soundtrack to accompany!
It raised a lot of emotions in me as I can relate to quite a lot of the parental control issues regarding relationships in the book.
I certainly went on a bit of a rollercoaster ride along with Shawn and Dawn - anger, sadness, joy - you name it - and yes I laughed and cried throughout the book.
I am not the best at believing in true love and it conquering all, but this book certainly made me rethink some of my thoughts on it all.
It's an easy read - not a light read though - and believe me, you will be moved by this book.
