Who else HATED the ending of this book?

Who else hated the ending of this book? Because I did, I mean they make us start to like Finnick and stuff and then he dies. And so does Prim and then Gale just disappears Ugh!

Me too, I actually thought Peeta was gonna die or something, but I was upset when it was Finnick.
Yeah what I didn't understand was why Katniss went on medication and all that.
Lol, yeah I think it was the last one (coo-coo).
Well...Honestly I didn't really like it, I mean the romance between them is cute an all....But if it were me I'd pick Gale...But then again that's me!
Yeah that's why I thought it was cute when she planted primroses in her garden in memory of her sister, I actually thought the ending was "okay" not "good" but "okay".....It would have been "good" if they didn't kill of Finnick *sniff*

Well I can tell he's going to do great...But I pictured Finnick a little younger, but still I can't wait to see it!

Yess! I know how you feel a lot of people don't wanna watch the movie cuz they think they should've cast someone else. I think they did awesome by casting him as Finnick!
The author decided to write off the characters that she didn't know what to do with at the end. Also, it seems like she didn't write the ended she wanted to, but decided to appear to the general masses instead--a technique that James Patterson has also mastered.
Yeah your right it did seem kinda rushed, she probably ran out of stuff to right about.
The ending lacked any sign of hope. It wasn't just about who would end up with whom, but the story finished with a traumatized Katniss, estranged friends and a sense that the cost of all the fight and struggle was too high and there was no real reward. It also lacked any sign of joy. I mean. They did win in the end, didn't they? It just didn't feel like it.
Yeah bad ending for a series but an "Okay" ending for the book.
I don't know, for me this was a much better ending than Harry Potter. And I LOVE HP. But the thing is, after all that Katniss's been through she just can't be a normal, and happy person ever. And I was sad for Finnick and Prim,too, not that sad about Gale, but yeah, those who survived had been through so many things that they'll never be able to forget.And the ones who'll enjoy the win are the children.
Yeah, but now I can't wait for the movie! So Anna how'd you like the movie compared to the book?
Same. I kinda had "too" high hopes for the movie, it was GREAT but sometimes though out the movie I would say "Nope he doesn't look like that" "Nope that didn't happen" lol but over all they did pretty good!
They were good I kinda pictured peeta like a skinny blonde cry baby but they gave us a buff blonde cry baby lol! They did Gale,Effie,Katniss, and Haymitch perfect though!
Yeah Ceaser was awesome the book said he had blue skin but if they'd put him with blue skin in the movie I would've died laughing lol!
I know Katniss' costume was exactly how I'd pictured it. and Effie looked so funny with her make up and afro, they did perfect on that lol
Oh hey I forgot to ask you, did you see the first couple of pics of Sam as Finnick yet?

I loved and hated the ending. I was so upset about Prim and Finnick, but honestly, i dont care about Gale. And im so happy Katniss and eeta got married
