If you can make a reader laugh

My writing is all over the genre map and that makes it more difficult to market. SPILL is a comedy and I wrote it out of a kind of despair. I wasn't getting anywhere in traditional publishing and I thought it I could write a comedy, if I could make a person laugh using words, you couldn't deny the writing worked.
