Weather tomorrow will be in the late forties; sunny and little wind so not too bad for December yet on white Christmas. I remember them well from other years.

We got up to 60 yesterday & it's 33 this morning. Sigh. I agree with Nina, I don't know how to handle it. We've also had over 70" of rain this year & it looks as if we'll go out with even more rain. Our average is about 45" for the year. Gooey.
We're up to 44 this morning, but it's raining again. Sigh.
cold front coming tonight so single diget and probably coldest New Year's day on record but later on it warms to the upper forties and fifties. We live in a roller coaster enviorment situation.

Nice weather here in the fifties but haven't heard from goodreads since Monday.
Our Kansas City Chiefs are in the Playoffs tomorrow night. Hope they win.
Feeling better this morning. Hope it lasts. During the night I have multiple pains across my back in all different places but when I take an Aleve I am finally able to go back to sleep. Weather great for January/in the fifties and sixty yesterday. Soft rain in the night. Birds seem hungry and happy.
As I said I now live in a Winter Wonderland. Newscaster said it was the worst snow storm here in thirty years. Seven wrecks on the freeways this morning; black ice..
Very cold tonight; near eight degrees but at least we have power and are staying inside.

Wow. Hope you don't get all that snow, Joy. We had pouring rain all day yesterday with the temp around 40. Then the temp dropped & we were supposed to get 3-6" of snow overnight. Looks like we only got an inch or two, thankfully. It's 15 degrees now & that's the high for the day. We're supposed to go down to 6 tonight & only into the teens tomorrow. Then it warms up into the 30s. Ugh. Just yucky. I'm sure there is ice all over everything & salt won't work very well. It was really windy yesterday, too. I hope no trees came down on the fence line. I really don't want to deal with that in this cold & ice.
We have over a foot of snow here.
It was below zero wind chill last night; today in the twenties and although the drive is covered with ice we didn't get the predicted snow fall. Last week we got around nine inches and several trees down but not on our property but one large tree on our street was down. At least with this cold we still had power; unlike last week with one hundred thousand without it; including us. So, something to be grateful for.
We had a fellow snowblow our property today.So now the dog can go out and do his business in the yard.
The snow was over a foot high!
I wondered about your dog. Glad the problem was solved.
PS - Our current temp is minus 8 degrees! (-8F)
We were at a blistering 5 degrees when I left the house. That's well before dawn, so it usually drops a couple of degrees. Yuck. The air pump to my fish pond quit working. Not a big deal since I've never given them one over the winter before.
I guess it's cold everywhere!
Seems like it. Marg says it was 2 when she got up this morning, so it did drop a little more. It's up to 10 now, though. Heat wave! ;)
Actually, since it's sunny & there isn't any wind, it doesn't feel too bad out. The wind was a killer yesterday. It wasn't blowing too hard - about 10mph - but it just cut through everything.
PS- OOPS! I see it went up to 2 degrees! :) At least it's the right direction... UP! :)
After such low temps over the weekend; eight degrees in early morning it's now in the forties. Hope it's headed your way, Jim and Joy.

We were supposed to get close to 50 today, but only managed 40 with a really cold wind. Rain tomorrow & then into the 20s after that for a couple/few days. Mud, rain, with a dash of snow. Yuck.
We've got rain pouring down, but it's so cold it's barely melting the snow that's left. YUCK!
Current temp here is 27°F.
Ten degrees this morning when I got up and next week some nights predicted to be two below zero. Not a good January so far. Glad when it ends. Our ten inch snow is slowly melting.

Tomorrow starts out seventeen degrees and then makes it's way to forty degree. yeah, but below zero looms ahead for the nights next week and one day, Wednesday only six degrees daytime. Brrrrr.

I'm not looking forward to next week either. Snow & single digit temps. Yuck.
