A way to get digests of some discussions and not others

Does anyone know how to set it up so that daily digests don't include particular discussion topics? I don't play the various games (maybe I will once I live on a planet with a longer day :-) ), and it takes a fair amount of time to scroll through the many game entries in the digest. I found a screen listing some topics and letting me change my options, but it didn't include the games for some reason. . . .

Right at the top of the comment box it says either 'email me' or 'you are following this discussion.' Whatever it says, click on that and you can change your settings to whatever you want.

If you are getting notifications for threads you don't want, you can just change those ones to 'none' so you're not following it anymore.

I find the email notifications thing is very easy to screw up, and it seems incredibly inconsistent.

In some groups, if I enable notifications for one thread then I get notifications for everything!

If you go Edit Profile > Emails, you'll be able to see the settings for each individual discussion.

I don't get any email notifications, but I get them on my GR homepage. They are very inconsistent, too. Some days I get notifications for all discussions I am following, other days I don't get any of them.
