Okay to use images from smashwords. Okay to use smashwords book page url/link as official url if author has not provided a better link. Page numbers if smashwords says a word count, just leave blank.
[There won't always be a dedicated amazon kindle asin or Barnes and Noble nook bnid (the 294### isbn numbers) when smashwords creates a listing on those and other bookseller sites—smashwords (like Random House and other publishers) commonly uses the same 978### number for all the bookseller ebook file types.
Goodreads does not specify file type for ebooks. For a Barnes and Noble nook edition with its own bnid starting with 294 Goodreads ebook as the format, nook edition (pubit flavor of ePub file type/format does not get noted); a kindle edition with asin (starts with a letter vs. number) is kindle format (the amazon flavor of mobi filte type, again, does not get noted anywhere). Goodreads also does not note if lendable, DRM, what type of DRM, pdf, Adobe pdf, Adobe DRM, html, stanza or any other file related info—just the book edition and media/format (hardcover, paperback, audio, ebook, etc.)
When indie authors put books on amazon and other bookseller sites, they can set themselves as the publisher; but, if you see some ebook published by the author, sometimes the book is on smashwords or lulu.com—in case anyone having trouble finding ebook data from non-bookseller sites.]
