1. Atonement by Ian McEwan

3. Shiva Trilogy by Amish Tripathi
Please share more recommendations on Literary fiction.
Puja, I have read so much about The Book Thief - am planning to buy it and read it at the earliest now :)
In literary fiction, I recommend some of the below:
1. Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen
2. 1984 by George Orwell
3. Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte
4. Eleven Minutes by Paulo Coelho
I realise that most of them are Classics - but they are the best form of literary fiction - the contemporary LitFic isn't as good.

I have read and love Eleven Minutes and Jane Eyre. Will definitely give a shot to 1984. Pride and Prejudice I have seen the movie and that I think discourages me from reading the story all over again.

Oh my God, there are some closet fans of this book - Eleven Minutes - back when I read it, I thought that I was probably the only fan, but I'm glad to bump into others from time to time :) Haven't really gotten to reading Coelho again though - tried a hand at Brida but it was a bit heavy for me I guess, to grasp all the concepts in it.
Please do give 1984 a shot if you've not been inducted into the dystopian world - probably a good lightweight start, this novel.

Hi Dia, appreciate your disclaimer. However, I would recommend you to use our Promotions - Self and Published folder which is customised to harbour promotional content rather than in here for the sake of relevancy. Good luck with your website! :-)
