Has anybody changed their initial choice? I initially chose I Heard the Owl Call My Name, Instructions for an Inexperienced Lover, or The Concubine's Children for British Columbia, depending on availability and price. But I forgot I got Smoke and Shadows for Christmas and that it's set in Vancouver, BC. Now that I'm reading Smoke and Shadows, I'm finding that I really like it, and that it would make a good choice for British Columbia.
