I like it. The colors really grabbed me, along with the feeling of motion. I liked the indecipherable writing too. I don't read very much nonfiction, but the cover didn't feel like a nonfiction cover. Not sure why. But it would catch my attention.
Judith, thanks for commenting! Non fiction covers are usually text oriented, with the main title and two or three additional titles. The main focus is on words. Most of the times, they put a picture of an author on the cover also. I wanted to have a meaningful picture, that would enrich the title of the book. The visual an the title are almost equally represented. Which element of a cover was the first one that grabbed your attention?
It felt like everything moved toward the center, which I liked, with the hands reaching toward the triangle, the colors lightening more and more from the dark to the golden to the brilliant triangle. And the faded script. Nice.
The visuals then, not the title/the words. The faded script is hardly seen, but if you look carefully you can see it. Great!
I agree with everything Judith said, but I'm more on the: it doesn't look like a non-fiction book. I always glance at a cover for five seconds without reading it, then close my eyes and ask myself, 'what is it?'. With this cover, I thought, 'it is a supernatural or horror book'. When I read the words and studied it for a second, I realized I was wrong. It has an effect, but I think it's a little overboard on looking mysterious. Unfortunately, I can't explain which elements make it that way.

Seeley, every opinion is good and it counts! As long as it has some weight in it, arguments his/her point of view. And it's important to gather different opinions. And yours and Judith's are actually the first ones that talk about the genre. Thanks!
I like the type used in the title, it really catches the attention without being cluttered. At first glance it does appear to be a fiction book of some sort, which would make me look twice. I think I clearere image of the people, or smaller, less mass like shadows would look better.
Mary, so mainly the title speaks to you, which is good. It also helps to know about the cover. An idea obviously needs some riping, will try some suggestions and see how it ends up. Thanks!
